One of the best times of the year is when the lakes freeze over and open up a whole new world to explore. You can walk for miles across the ice, surrounded by crisp air, wide horizons, and that special winter light.

Today we took the kids (and horse) out for a walk on the frozen lake. Simple moments, big smiles, and memories in the making. Winter at its best. ❄️
