Snowstory's American akitas American akita breeder from Finland! Tuula Jokiaho (Lehtimäki) and Laura Haapanen (Noormarkku) Hei! En myy pentuja ulkokoiriksi, vaan ainoastaan osaksi perhettä.

Olen Tuula Jokiaho ja asun Lehtimäellä Etelä-Pohjanmaalla, lähellä Ähtäriä. Olen harrastanut amerikanakita -rotua vuodesta 2000 ja ensimmäisen pentueeni nimellä Snowstory´s kasvatin 2003. Sittemmin pentueita on ollut 1-2 vuodessa ja minut on palkittu Suomen Kennelliiton Vuolasvirta -palkinnolla. Harrastan koirieni kanssa lenkkeilyä, näyttelyjä ja verijälkeä. Koiramme harrastavat kanssamme myös mat

kailua ja ne ovatkin reissanneet lukuisissa paikoissa eri puolilla Keski-Eurooppaa. Koiramme ovat meille perheenjäseniä ja kasvatan pääasiassa sijoituskoirilla, jotta jokainen meillä synnyttävä koira olisi samanlainen rakastettu perheenjäsen omassa perheessään, kuin omammekin ovat. # # #
Toiseksi kasvattajaksi Snowstory´s kennelnimelle liittyi 2/2022 Laura Haapanen Noormarkusta. Lauralla on kotonaan kaksi Snowstory´s kasvattia, M***a (Fi & Ee Mva Snowstory´s Maybelline) ja Diva (Snowstory´s Strawberry). Ensimmäisen oman pentueensa kennelnimelle Laura kasvattaa lähivuosina. 14.&15.05.2025 Rally-obedience, Oulu.
Mosa (Snowstory´s Märtha) participated in her first Open Class Rally-Obedience trials! On Saturday, the first trial resulted in an OPEN 0, but the second trial already brought an approved OPEN result with 84 points!
The competitions continued on Sunday, and this time the result was another approved OPEN result with 87 points!
Mosa now needs just one more approved result from the Open Class to achieve the RTK2 title and move up to the Winner Class!
Huge congratulations Minni and Mosa — you are doing such an amazing job!

Martta (Fi JCh Blossom Meadow Blush Ripasso) has grown into her frame and regained her coat, which made it a pleasure to head into the show ring again!
The result was excellent: Best Female and BOB!
We didn’t stay for the group ring.

Tampere International Show, 3.5.2026
Prima had a dream day: BB-1, BOS, BOS-Junior and CACIB-J! Thank you to judge Helin Tenson for appreciating our girl! The video is from the Best Bitch ring.

Tampere NORD Show, 2.5.2026
Excellent results again: BB-2 with CQ, BOB-Junior, NORD Reserve-CAC and NORD Junior-CAC! Thank you to judge Riitta Niemelä.

An outstanding day! Prima won Junior CAC, BOS-Junior, and BOS. 🏆 With this win, she closed her very first title: Finnish Junior Champion! ❤️ Warm thanks to judge Reino Korpela for appreciating our girl.

The puppies of Amadeus (C.I.B StyleSign Up For Anything) and Pottu (Shimmerian Quietly Dressed) have reached the age where their journey toward their own homes has begun!

One of the beautiful girls will be joining the Snowstory’s team — we’ll be hearing more about her later!

A big thank you to the litter’s breeder, Jenna Tihinen, for all the work you have done for the puppies! These puppies are well prepared to head out into the big world, having been so carefully cared for and socialized in their birth home.

✨ Our young ladies travelled to Parkano to kick off the new show year! ✨

Prima (Stylesign Popfly) had an outstanding day, winning Junior CAC, CAC, Best Junior and also Best of Breed, and was shortlisted in the big-ring ❤️

Martta (FI JCh. Blossom Meadow Blush Ripasso) was presented in the intermediate class for the first time and received an Excellent ❤️

Koa lives in Helsinki with his mother, Thora (FI & EE CH Snowstory’s Mistress of Thunder).
His father is Amadeus (C.I.B. StyleSing Up for Anything).
