Can’t believe it’s 10 years ago 😍

Very nice friendly dogs, enjoying the different activities there, and I had the privilege to have some visiting my mini studio there. Here you can see the result, and yes, a few are not very Staffordshire or Amstaff like :) Indeed they were a few other breeds as well, but I did welcome everyone!!

Even though I have never really left, those last two years have been considered as “dormant” with the dog photography, the global situation and closing one studio, reopening of another one, starting also another company, etc etc… but still shooting in my studio your furry friends.

This was 10 years ago. March 2012. The first photo of Molly and how started my “koiravalokuvaus/dog photography” journey.
Do you know the story behind this picture?
I was actually taking photos of volutes, smoke volutes on dark background with one flash. And my dog came in the setting to get some attention 😍 I could have nicely pushed her away. But I did push the smoke volutes away and kept Molly in front of camera and started modifying the flash, added another one etc… few months later I had my first little studio on Mannerheimintie. A cellar, remember it? ☺️
Few years later I moved to Etelä-Haaga for a nicer space. And also shared it with other photographers and organized many events there. During those 10 years, I have been several times at messukeskus with own stand, worked with major brand, been interviewed on radio, tv news, a lot of fun needless to say.
The more recent years have been bit different, shooting less but still shooting.
I will share more throwback photos of this last decade.
