One year without Ricky ❤️

The one I will never stop missing.

He was the perfect family member —our beloved dog who also had an exceptional show career.

He was the best dog to live with, and it was always such a joy to show him.

This is how I will always remember him ❤️

At our Breed Specialty Show, with 27 PBGVs and 13 basset breeds in total, AFTER ME went Best in Show Breeders Group!

Showing a breeders group was something I had been waiting for for a long time. Years ago, I decided we would not show our breeders classes until the dogs were similar enough, and a year ago we made the decision to wait and present them during the WDS weekend!

From left we had:
After Me In The Spotlight
After Me Fly High
After Me Go Gilbert
After Me Genie In A Bottle

Our breed judge Marita Rodgers wrote these lovely words:
"This breeder has an eye for type, attitude. They all have very good toplines, necks, tail set, good rear ends, and have that lovely petit attitude."

🎉 BEST IN SHOW! 🎉

Second puppy show and second BEST IN SHOW for After Me Kismet Touch "Freya" and she's only 6 months old!

Freya first went BOB and Group Winner under judge Hilkka Salohalla, and later won Best in Show under Pirjo Aaltonen. There were around 250 puppies entered in total!

Freya is out of C.I.E. After Me Genie In A Bottle × C.I.E. After Me Challenge Accepted.

What a wonderful day at the puppy show! We had three puppies from our K-litter competing and they did us proud.

🩷 After Me Kismet Touch "Freya" went BOB, Group winner & BEST IN SHOW

💙 Her brother, After Me Keen To Impress "Vainu", was Best of Opposite

💜 Their sister, After Me Keep The Magic "Layla", placed second after Freya

So proud of this lovely trio! Thank you everyone for a fun showday. 🥰

Breeding Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen's in Finland under kennel prefix After Me. Our journey with this breed started already 20 years ago, when Kristina got her first petit. First After Me litter was born in November 2017. Kristina was intrigued by the breeds happy and outgoing attitude and the easy-going look. The breed is versatile and suits for many different activities. My own petit has been both successful at dog shows and also been really well awarded as a hunting dog. We feed our dogs high quality Eukanuba food. #aftermepbgvs #eukanubaambassador

Kasvatamme pienimuotoisesti Petit Basset Griffon Vendeenejä kennelnimellä After Me. Tarinamme rodun parissa alkoi jo 20 vuotta sitten, kun Kristinan elämään astui ensimmäinen petitti. Ensimmäinen After Me pentue syntyi marraskuussa 2017. Kristinaa kiehtoi petitissä sen avoin ja iloinen luonne, sekä rento ulkonäkö. Rotu on monipuolinen harrastuskaveri ja aina valmis toimintaan. Omistamani petitti on ollut sekä menestynyt näyttelykoira että metsällä erinomaisesti toimiva yksilö. Koiramme syövät Eukanubaa päivittäin. #aftermepbgvs #eukanubaambassador
