Toni is back with us.
She spent 10 recovering from her.mouth operation and completely shaved back for a skin condition. The thrn we put her back in the colony but thr rains returned so we took her in. She has had enough of being feral.so we are looking for an adopter.

And she loves being a pampered kit. She loves her food and her.electric blanket and lying on us. She is getting used to Toby and just.purrs her head of.

Happy Ending

The ginger boy on the right is Jeremy. We hand-reared him when he was tiny. The family who.adopted him just sent us his pic with his new.best friend.

We bottle fed him every 2 hours 24 hours a day, cleaned his bottom and got covered in p*e and wandered around like zombies.... and seeing him so happy and healthy makes it all worth it.

Another recipient of the snip, snip.
Mr Splodge, a recent newcomer to our Forest colony is the second biggest cat we have come across in Spain. And he was most put out about going to the vet.

Gail and Elena had quite the battle trying to catch him (think Leonardo Di Caprio in The Revenant) and even then he managed to break the trap.

But it will extend his life. He wont be constantly crossing roads in search of lady cat.company (all of ours are fixed) and he won't be always fighing or being a bully.

We got an opportunity to reach a wider audience yesterday when we appeared in Tuyatv who picked up on our postings about the poisoning of cats.

So predictable....all but one poster was torn down. The pettiness of some people never stops to amaze me. Posters had the Local Police badge and were agreed by them, so no respect for cats, their carers or the law. So sad and annoying.

Busy day yesterday. When we returned a recently neutered male to its colony, we checked on a female who is being accosted by at least three males. She is hiding in a tube so they can't get her, but whenever she has to come out they are waiting for her. We have not been able to trap her yet poor thing

This is us this morning looking for two kittens so we can take them off the street and find them a wonderful family. We saw them, but they also saw us and they were fast on their paws, and the terrain is a nightmare. One to go back to

Following the post about the poisoning, we spoke to the police and submitted a formal complaint. We could not name anyone, but on the basis of the vet's report, we could prove he died from poisoning and our aim was to ensure it did not happen again. We spoke to neighbours, we put posters and hopefully that will act as a deterrent. A local TV company picked up the story and they want to interview us. Result!
