Male Pomeranian after 2 years came to the clinic and lost 21 teeth 🦷as owners been so afraid to put him under anestesia. Poor doggie lived on pain and bacteria constantly circulating in the bloodstream, mostly affecting the heart and kidney 🫀
Just reminding that we have the best anestesia, monitoring machines and using the best medicine for our patients ☺️

Oronasal fistulas (ONFs) in dogs are abnormal openings between the oral (mouth) and nasal (nose) cavities, usually because of advanced periodontal disease, especially the maxillary (upper) canine teeth. It cause nasal discharge, also eating food and water can get into the nose and can cause aspiration pneumonia (inhalation of food or water). It is very important to close them if they appear.

Cat was on a few months of treatment with prednisolone because of belly skin condition. Poor cat has excessive self grooming, because of intensive pain of the tee. Needs to be done dental X-rays and extractions of diseased teeth.
