Epona Equestrian Centre is a family run BHS aproved Dressage and Trail Riding centre, specialised in Equestrian tourism and Riding Holidays.

www.eponaspain.com We offer several different programmes that include from trail riding (on sensitive safe mounts) in the inmediate countryside and on the beach, combined with basic dressage or equitation lessons, as well as more Intesive Dressage courses ranging from basic to High School level for the keener

Dressage riders. We have a large number of sensitive well trained School Masters (mainly Andalusian or PRE) on which our visitors will have a chance to ride and experience some of the medium and advanced movements rarely available to the amateur rider. We also hold several clinics a year with olimpic medallist Rafael Soto. These are very popular and often fill up quickly, so look out for dates on our web site www.eponaspain.com !

This week we have enjoyed bright blue skies and beautiful sunshine, with a truly spring-like feeling in the air. It is already clear that the season is well underway, and we have been delighted to welcome wonderful groups of guests who have visited us, as usual, from many different countries🙂🇺🇸🇬🇧🇫🇷🇩🇰🇧🇪🇦🇺

Our Instructor Sherree has been guiding a fantastic group of guests from the United States🇺🇸on our Doñana Natural Park Ride🤗🇪🇦🌳🐱🦩🌊

Meanwhile, the rest of
the team have continued running activities here in Epona, including two consecutive weeks of clinics with the Olympic rider Rafael Soto, alongside guests taking part in our regular programmes.

We would like to say a big thank you to our whole team and staff for their dedication and hard work, and a very special thank you to our cook, Rosario, for the fantastic meals she prepares for everyone!!

We would also like to extend our thanks to all the guests who visit us. It is always a pleasure to welcome those coming for the first time, and an even greater joy to see so many returning guests over the past few weeks, who choose to ride with us again. Your continued trust and support mean a great deal to us🤗

How quickly January has flown by! We can't believe the first month of 2026 is almost over!😱
As we do every year in January, we were delighted to welcome a wonderful group of Irish girls who came to take part in a special course with us as part of their Transition Year.

This special course includes on-site accommodation at the farm and, during their stay with us, the girls help out with stable duties and take part in two daily dressage lessons, lectures on stable management and cultural visits, making the experience both enjoyable and educational.
At the same time, we were also delighted to welcome other lovely guests who joined our regular programmes, running alongside the special course for the TY girls. Thank you so much to all the participants from all around the world who joined us this month!!🇺🇸🇬🇧🇫🇷🇮🇪🇸🇪🤗

We’re enjoying our usual Christmas break here at Epona. While some of our horses are having a well-earned rest, we’re keeping busy exercising and schooling others.
Most of the staff are on holiday, also enjoying a well deserved rest😅, and just a few of us are "keeping up the fort"💪🏻

But somehow, we are also finding time to enjoy the festive season with our family visiting from Italy and with friends❤️

We begin work with a new group of guests on January 4th, but until then, we wanted to share a few of our favourite photos from the past few weeks leading up to our winter holidays.

We’ve just wrapped up another beautiful November week. And it wasn’t just any week… It was the big week in Seville (and Spain) for the Pure Spanish Horse (PRE)🇪🇸, it was, SICAB week!!!

For those who don’t know what SICAB is, it's a unique event where the finest Spanish horses from all disciplines come together: Classical Dressage from young horses classes all the way up to Grand Prix level, Doma Vaquera, Carriage Driving, Alta Escuela, Side Saddle, Show Jumping, Working Equitation, and of course, Morphology… A true celebration of the Spanish horse in all its greatness.

Our guests this week, as well as staff and part of the García family, all had the chance to visit SICAB on Friday and enjoy the magnificent "Night Gala" an experience they will surely remember. It was AMAZING!!

It has been a full and vibrant week for us, and we’re excited to share some photos from SICAB, of some of the lovely guests who stayed with us, as well as some beautiful pictures from the previous week that we loved.

We’re also delighted to mention the arrival of a new horse, the gorgeous PALADIN proudly purchased by one of our wonderful repeat guest, Victoria from London. A piece of news that fills us with joy! Victoria and Paladín were able to recieve a lesson from Rafael this Saturday, kindly assisted by our Bodeguero Paddy🤦🏼‍♀️🤗

We are deeply honoured to have Rafael Soto, a world-class trainer and distinguished equestrian, as visiting instructor at Epona.
His regular visits throughout the year allow him to share his vast knowledge and experience with our riders and participants.

We also have the privilige to be able to organise several clinics every year, that greatly enrich our programmes.

Those who know Rafael, know not just of his deep knowledge, but also of his friendly and approachable personality, his humour and down to earth nature.Always encouraging and motivating riders to improve while being both kind and forgiving. Dressage riders of all levels are welcome to his clinics.

We are equally fortunate that Rafael Soto has been the mentor and coach of Vivi García, Head Rider and Chief Trainer here at Epona Equestrian Centre, for many years.
