😊 Riding Lessons 🐎

🍀 Enjoy some relaxing hours while watching the riding lessons. For sure you’ll get some company of our beloved four-legged-friend 🐈, who either want to be cuddled or get something to eat.

➡️ Preparation for riding lessons 🐎:

While you relax and wait, our students learn the fundamentals of horsemanship! This includes not only mounting and dismounting, but also horse care, proper riding techniques, and how to wash, saddle, unsaddle, and lead the horse from its stall. Students learn to prepare the horse for the lesson, which we always check. All of this is part of our comprehensive riding instruction! The lesson itself effectively begins the moment the student is in the riding arena with the horse, seated, with the stirrups correctly adjusted, and ready for the lesson!

Since we love giving riding lessons, horses and “El Álamo” is our life we are looking forward to teach our students with fun, enthusiasm and passion ,♥️ and we would love to share our horse and riding experiences, which we do have since our early childhood, with you .

🙏🏽 Thankful ❣️

Even it was horrible hot, the horses needed to be treated. Actually it was nice spending some time in peace and quite at the riding place as it was at the very first beginning. .sunshine74 bathed the horses and cleaned the terrace, walked the horses, cleaned all riding stables and the yard and I took care of the bar area, cats and papers. It was as same procedure as every time just eight years before. So many were coming and going but we are still together and here! Older, maybe wiser but definitely thankful for all years and experiences we went through together because of El Álamo - Club Hípico❣️

🐎 A major life change! 🐴✨

For eight years, we worked towards a big dream: bringing our riding stable home to our own private finca! Clemens and I both grew up with horses, and after years of experience (and a serious riding accident that shifted my focus to groundwork, while Clemens focuses on dressage), it’s finally happening.

Our new place will feature a large riding arena for private riding lessons, spacious paddocks for private horse owners & our horses, an orchard, Sylvia‘s cozy cafeteria, and Anna‘s pony farm with pony club for our youngest riders! 🌳🐎

We couldn’t do this without Ann Cathrin El Allaoui – a loyal soul who has been with us since day one at „El Álamo - Club Hípico.“ Her heart, passion, and expertise mean the world to us, and we are beyond grateful she’s continuing this journey with us! ♥️

🐎 Big changes for the benefit of our horses❣️

We’re making progress. Our horses are visibly happier on the large grounds. Even the older horses are recovering; they play, run, their spirits are visibly healing from the inside out, and their skin, especially after being ravaged by mosquito bites, has been able to regenerate wonderfully here at the finca, which makes us incredibly happy. We’re receiving more and more positive feedback confirming that it was the only right decision to give our horses a natural environment and let them live together in groups – just as nature intended! At the same time, the roofs for the paddocks are being installed, which is quite an adventurous undertaking, because we still leave nothing to chance and do everything ourselves, mostly on our own. And that’s precisely why we’re so wholeheartedly committed to our „El Álamo - Club Hípico“ and don’t let ourselves get discouraged, even in the most difficult times. We continue to fight for our dream, for our horses!

🐎 Daily work on a riding stable. Even our youngest riding students love and lovingly care for our horses. During their riding lessons, they also learn proper handling skills such as saddling a horse 🐴.

🐎 A place of peace and relaxation ♥️✨

Enjoy special and peaceful moments on our farm. Here, we run „El Álamo - Pony Farm,“ where our horses—including sick, elderly, and privately owned horses—are kept free in large outdoor paddocks. Young beginners are welcome to join Anna and Florian with their pony group for pony walks or the pony club. While the renovations are progressing slowly, our goal is to transform „El Álamo - Pony Farm“ into something truly special for all our riding clients, young and old.
