A day to remember how important these incredible ocean predators are — like the ones living at Loro Parque:
🔹 Grey reef shark
🔹 Nurse shark
🔹 Zebra shark
🔹 Bamboo shark
🔹 Blacktip reef shark
🔹 Guitarfish
🔹 Short-tail nurse shark
🔹 Small-spotted catshark

They are vital for ocean balance… and truly amazing!

Many of these species are threatened. Their conservation is in our hands.

🌍✨ Puerto de la Cruz, epicentre of responsible German tourism

Last Thursday, we had the honour of participating in the annual summit of the RTK – Reiseland network, which brought together the leading German travel agents in Puerto de la Cruz. This meeting was key to strengthening the relationship with the main tourism market in the north of the island and a fundamental partner for Puerto de la Cruz and Tenerife. 🇩🇪💛

During the day, Christoph Kiessling, Vice President of the Loro Parque Group, shared his vision on sustainable tourism, highlighting the importance of a responsible model that benefits the community and protects biodiversity.

We want to thank RTK and its CEO Hauke Moll for their trust in our destination, as well as Ayuntamiento de Puerto de la Cruz, Turismo de Tenerife, and Dimple Melwani Melwani for their support at this event that reinforces Puerto de la Cruz’s positioning as a preferred destination for German travellers.

🤝 Yesterday, Friday, we were delighted to welcome these agents to Loro Parque, where they were able to see first-hand our commitment to sustainability and excellence.
