A little story about our summer rides from one our most stylish guests Stefan 🩷
In the period from July 9th to July 16th I completed the Gredos and Culture Trail for the second time. There are many special horseback riding trips, but this horseback riding trip is definitely one of the absolute highlights. In the mountains of Castile you ride over untouched pastures, breathtaking mountain ridges and rivers with crystal clear water. An exceptionally well maintained and perfectly organized barn. All horses are well trained, very good equipment. Since the ride in the mountains is at 1300-1500 m high, there is always a light wind and even in summer it is not too hot. Wonderful trots and canters that makes every rider's heart beat faster. The accommodations range from princely to rustic. Always demanding and super well maintained. The catering is exceptional. Every day there is an aperitif, followed by lunch, always in very special places. After that there is a siesta. Be sure to bring your bathing suit, being able to swim in the crystal clear mountain water is truly a revelation. My very personal tip is to take a hammock with you. There is no better way to experience a siesta in Spain. This horseback riding trip got full marks for me. The absolute highlight afterwards is a visit to Avila, an important medieval Spanish city that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I will definitely try to book this trip again next year.
