Our family consists of Whippet, Chihuahua, Yorkshire Terrier -and me, Raquel C. Hennessey. Hennessey Hound got its name after one of the fastest cars in the world, Hennessey Venom GT. No wonder we had to choose a name like that with our 4-legged "racers" in the family. Hennessey Hound kennel is registered the Sociedad Canina de Alicante and Real Sociedad Canina De España (https://www.rsce.es/es/)

, and of course FCI. (http://www.fci.be/en/). The name was approved by FCI in February 2016. Hennessey Hound will never become a big Kennel, nor have many litters. We breed for the joy and love of it. Maybe one-three litters a year. Our main goal is to breed healthy, playful and lovable dogs, with the best temperament and personalities, hopefully with quality body type and good features. We strive to reach up as close as possible to every dog-breed`s FCI recognized standard, -whether it's the Chihuahua, Yorkies or the Whippets. We do NOT breed with Merle Chihuahua, because of ethical reasons. We hope you enjoy our website and of course our dogs. www.hennesseyhound.com
