Even though it is cold and wet out at the moment ticks and fleas are still around, just waiting for a warm body. Last year was a bad year for infestations. I saw a lot of dogs with ticks and fleas, driven mad by the itching.🐕 Regular treatment is very important or invest in a good quality flea and tick collar. I recommend Seresto collars, all my dogs wear them all year round and never got one tick or flea last year 😁. You must know your dogs weight but also take body length into account when buying the best one. Drops are a good way but you must keep to the 4 weeks and the collar should be on the skin. If you have a cat in the house they can be the provider of our uninvited friends so keep them to a regular routine too.
