“Adopt, don't shop" ⚠️ "Adopt, Don't Shop"
That's a phrase we hear often.
And we understand why. Because there are so many abandoned animals Because thousands of cats and dogs are waiting, every day, for a family in a cold box or a foster cage. And especially because associations do an amazing job. With too little means. Too little support. But strength, patience, love that force respect. 💛 Adopting is giving a second chance to an animal that others have forgotten. And this is an admirable gesture. 💖
But please... Don't make this beautiful cause an attack on another. Because no, ethical breeders are not responsible for abandonment. On the contrary, we too are fighting against irresponsibility, against wild reproduction, against the "disposable" animal.
🐾 Many of us started in rescues, in associations, sterilization campaigns. We have known the smell of boxes, the broken look of an abandoned animal, the anger, the exhaustion, the sadness. This is what made us want to do things differently. To be born little, but good. To frame. To be warned. Because avoiding giving up is also acting before it happens.
Being an ethical breeder is not doing "lays for pleasure". It's a life in brackets for our animals.
It's like staying up all night, on your knees, waiting for kittens to be born.
It's crying when a little one can't breathe.
It's eating cold, sleeping little, it's working 7/7 24/7 it's putting your social life on the side... and sometimes wonder why we do this... And then you see that look, that of a confident kitten in the arms of a perfect family... And remember that this is exactly what it is for💖
✨ We let our little ones grow up with their mother, until complete weaning, not just food, but emotional and educational.
✨ We observe them, we know them, we love them deeply.
✨ We sterilize those who will not breed, and those who are destined for reproduction leave only if we are sure of the ethics of the future breeding.
✨ We follow our little ones and big ones for life. We'll take them back if necessary. We never abandon them. And no, money is not "for us". He is for them. It depends on food, veterinary care, facilities, comfort, follow-up, health visits, contributions, etc... This is not a business. It's a commitment. A passion that is sometimes exhausting, but visceral.
So... do you need to adopt? YES. Absolutely.
Should breeders be condemned? N O P E R N E .
👉 It's not a fight between two camps. It's a side job.
💛Adopting is fixing what others have broken.
💛 Ethically raising is building so there is nothing to fix.
And all, in their own way, fight for animals to be loved, respected, never abandoned. Well, please...
Don't stand against us. We are on the same side. The bright side. One of those who really love animals. 🐾
And above all, whether you choose to adopt from a shelter or from an ethical breeder, do it with your heart, with conscience, with respect. Because loving animals, really, is recognizing the value of every commitment and making it a promise for life💖🐾
