🐾✨ **World Oral Health Day for Dogs and Cats!** 🐾✨

Today, we’re celebrating our furry friends' smiles! 🐶😺 It’s **World Oral Health Day**, and just like us, our pets need to keep their teeth and gums healthy for a lifetime of joy and comfort. 🦷💖

Did you know that *70% of cats and 80% of dogs* show signs of oral disease by the age of 3? 😱 That’s why it's super important to make oral care a regular part of their routine!

🦷 **Top tips for your pet’s oral health:**
1. **Brush their teeth!** Use a pet-safe toothbrush and toothpaste to gently clean their teeth.
2. **Dental chews & toys**: These help keep plaque and tartar at bay!
3. **Regular vet check-ups**: Ensure your pet's teeth are in tip-top shape.
4. **Healthy diet**: A well-balanced diet can promote good dental health.

Let’s keep those tails wagging and purrs rumbling with healthy, happy smiles! 😁🐾

Celebrating World Sleep Day: Let’s Not Forget Our Furry Friends! 🐾😴
14th March 2025, on World Sleep Day, it's time to recognize just how important rest is—not only for us humans but for our beloved dogs and cats too! 🐶🐱 Whether they’re curled up on a cozy blanket or lounging in their favorite sunny spot, our pets need sleep to stay healthy, happy, and energized.

Did you know? Cats typically sleep for 12-16 hours a day, and dogs can sleep anywhere from 12-14 hours, depending on their breed, age, and activity level. 💤 This means they spend a significant part of their lives recharging, just like we do. Their sleep helps with everything from memory consolidation to maintaining a strong immune system.

So, today (and every day!), let's take a moment to appreciate the importance of sleep for our pets. After all, a well-rested dog or cat is a happy and healthy one! 🐾💤

Happy World Sleep Day to all the furry sleepers out there! 🌙

Beware of the Pine Processionary! 🌲⚠️
Did you know the Pine Processionary caterpillar can be a serious threat to both humans and animals? 🐾 These fuzzy little creatures are famous for forming long, characteristic “processions” as they travel in groups. While they may look harmless, their tiny hairs contain toxins that can cause allergic reactions, skin irritation, and even respiratory problems. 😷

Let’s stay safe and spread awareness! 🌿👀

🌍🐾 Explore the Wild: Fascinating Exotic Animals Around the World! 🐾🌍
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to meet some of the most unusual creatures on Earth? From the depths of tropical rainforests to the vast savannas, our planet is home to extraordinary animals that leave us in awe. Let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of these incredible species that make our world so wonderfully diverse! 🌿✨
* TERRAPENE ORNATA - is a species of North American box turtle sometimes referred to as the western box turtle or the ornate box turtle. It is one of two recognized species of box turtle in the United States, having two subspecies. The second recognized species of box turtle is the eastern box turtle, Terrapene carolina.
* GUINEA PIG OR DOMESTIC GUIENEA PIG - , also known as the cavy or domestic cavy, is a species of rodent belonging to the genus Cavia, family Caviidae. Breeders tend to use the name "cavy" for the animal, but "guinea pig" is more commonly used in scientific and laboratory contexts.
* MACAWS - Macaws are a group of New World parrots that are long-tailed and often colorful, in the tribe Arini. They are popular in aviculture or as companion parrots, although there are conservation concerns about several species in the wild.
YELLOW-BELLIED SLIDER - is a subspecies of the pond slider, a semiaquatic turtle belonging to the family Emydidae. It is native to the southeastern United States, specifically from Florida to southeastern Virginia, and is the most common turtle species in its range

Nature is full of surprises, and there are countless more incredible creatures out there waiting to be discovered! 🌿💚 Every animal, big or small, plays a role in the grand web of life. Let's work together to protect these fascinating species and their habitats for generations to come. 🌍✨

Attention: Veterinary Protest in Spain 🇪🇸

Today, all veterinarians in Spain stand united against the new PresVet law that makes time management impossible and negatively impacts both vets and pet owners.

Why We Are Protesting:

* Longer waiting times for clients due to excessive bureaucracy
* Restricted medication options, even when better alternatives exist
* Less time for proper diagnostics, affecting the quality of care
* Clients forced to go to pharmacies instead of receiving medication directly

We are committed to providing the best care for animals, but this law limits our ability to do so efficiently. Today, we raise our voices and protest together!

Boo and Truffle just got their vaccines 🩼🩼

Did you know ?
That vaccination prevents many pet illnesses.
Vaccination can help avoid costly treatments for preventable diseases. Vaccination prevents diseases that can be passed between animals and from animals to people.
Unvaccinated pets are at risk from life - threatening diseases found in wildlife, such as rabies and distemper.
