It seems we have a second wave of puppies 😢🥺

4 more just arrived 😢

This week alone we’ve had around 10 pups come in…and the shelter is too risky for them to be here 🤒

Fosters are full to the brim…

So we urgently need more puppy fosters who can help 🙏🏽

💙 PIP & RALPHIE 💙

These 2 beautiful babies came into the shelter a couple of days ago, but are now safe in foster 🙏🏽

Pip is the black one and Ralphie is the dapple. 2 1/2 months old.

💙 CHURRO 💙

This beautiful little Mastin mix puppy, now named CHURRO, was found wandering alone on the streets 🥺

He had no chip and no collar, and despite several attempts to find his owner, nobody came forward for him.

Churro is a little shy at first, most likely because he has had very limited exposure to people during his short life. But once he feels safe, he is incredibly loving and affectionate 🥹

With a little time, patience and more positive experiences with people, we are sure he will become more confident and trusting 🙏🏽

Churro is now safely in foster care with other dogs and cats, and he is absolutely wonderful with them 🥰

He has also been out in public and is super relaxed, friendly and happy around people.

He has also been to the vets for his check and worming/ vaccinations and he was not scared and was such a good boy.

He is around 4 months old and, as he is still a puppy, he is working on his house training. His foster mum is helping him learn, and he is already following her dogs outside to p*e and poo — he is a very fast learner! 😍

It seems that Churro probably spent most, if not all of his short life outside. Many things that are normal to a dog living in a home, such as being indoors or going on car rides, were completely new to him. Despite this, he is adapting incredibly well and discovering how wonderful life can be!

Churro is now looking for his forever home.

He can live with other dogs and cats and would make a wonderful addition to the right family.

🩷NINA 🩷

Beautiful Nina arrived to us as part of a trio of female Shepherds, together with Morgan & Kira.
They come from the countryside, where they had been under the care of a woman who sadly took her own life, and the animals stayed behind 🥺

They are of course very bonded and live well together, but they also each have their own characters and are also independent individuals.

Nina is the middle one of the group from her age, 8, and though she enjoys to go for walks and have time in the park with her pack members, she actually very much enjoys me time in the dog park.

She looks for a nice stick to chew on and will spend most of her time under a tree, chewing on a stick quietly by herself, while Kira is running around and Morgan is checking humans for snacks 😆

We do not yet know Nina outside of the shelter, but soon she will go out to the forest and the town with volunteers and then we will know more about her character individually.

In the shelter she is mostly calm, walking well on the leash and minding her own business while out with volunteers.

She loves to go into the pool after a walk in the hot weather and she really enjoys being brushed and receiving massages.
She also allows her nails to be cut without any drama.

Nina enjoys doing little exercises with her human, sit, lay, stay, wait for the toy. She establishes contact easily with humans, especially when she is separated from the pack and has one-on-one attention. Nina is looking for a home with a calm person who has previous dog experience, preferably with Shepherds or similar breeds.

She could join a home without other dogs, or with good introduction, a home with another social, confident dog, or she could also of course be adopted with 1 or both of her friends - Morgan & Kira.

Nina’s shoulder height is 60cm.

🩷 KIRA 🩷

Beautiful girl Kira, just 3 years old, arrived as part of a trio of female Shepherds, together with Morgan & Nina.

They come from the countryside, where they had been under the care of a woman who sadly took her own life, and the animals stayed behind 🥺

They are of course very bonded and live well together, but they also each have their own characters and are also independent individuals.

Kira loves her friends very much, but she does also really enjoy one-on-one attention from humans and activities away from the shelter and the pack.

While in the shelter, she is of course stressed, and under and over simulated at the same time, then away from the shelter, she very quickly shows a quieter, focused, more relaxed side of her.

Kira is very nice with humans, and loves their company. It is a pleasure to go walking in the nature with her…she walks on the leash amazingly, and contrary to many German Shepherds, who are often nervous and all over the place, Kira is really soft and easy to guide on the leash when walking in nature. A very pleasant companion 🥰

When she is by herself, she seeks connection with the human, and builds a communication very quickly - but not in a demanding way, more as in just being together, going on an adventure together 🥹

Of course, like all intelligent dogs, she enjoys engagement and doing little exercises and tricks, but she does not overwhelm you with demands for activity.

Kira travels well in the car and when passing other dogs on nature walks, she mostly is calm and minds her own business, unless a dog really invades her space and comes to her face, then she can bark them off, if not suitable playing friends for her liking.

Kira is looking for a home with an active person with previous dog experience, preferably with Shepherds or similar breeds.
She could join a home without other dogs, or with good introduction, a home with another social, confident dog, or she could also of course be adopted with 1 or both of her friends - Morgan & Nina. Kira’s shoulder height is 60cm.

🩷 MORGAN 🩷

Morgan arrived to us as part of a trio of female Shephards, with Kira & Nina. They come from the countryside, where they had been under the care of a woman who sadly took her own life, & the animals stayed behind.

They are of course very bonded & live well together, but they also each have their own characters & are also independent individuals.

Morgan is the eldest of the trio, 10 in December, & therefore also the calmest & slowest physically.

Morgan very quickly builds a connection to humans & stays by your side. While the trio is enjoying the dog park, running & wrestling over sticks, she loves to play around with her friends for a bit, & then comes to you, to either calmly walk with you, or simply lay down next to you, rest, and look around 🥰

She has a very calm, & pleasant presence, but don’t think the senior lady is done yet! If you take out the snacks, she wakes up & is ready for tricks & training!

Morgan’s shoulder height is around 60cm & she has beautiful fluffy fur that get’s extra fluffy when she has taken a cooling bath after a walk in the hot weather.
She also loves to be groomed, & will very patiently sit through an hour of brushing. With nearly 10 years of age on her body, she of course is slowing down in her walking - she no longer needs a lot of movement or active walks, though she will very well accompany you for an easy going 30 minute nature walk without a problem. At the same time, she will also be very happy with a little walk and spending the rest of the day calmly in a little garden under an apple tree, chewing on her stick & getting stroked by her human.

We love Morgan, she is really so lovely.
She seems to be healthy & no medical issues have been identified or noticed during her time in the shelter.

We believe that Morgan would also very much enjoy a home without other dogs, just a peaceful life together with her forever human.

At the same time, coming from a pack, she could also join a home with one or more social dogs, or she could of course also be adopted together with one or both of her current packmembers - Kira & Nina.

🩷 3 QUEENS NINA, MORGAN & KIRA 🩷

I am first posting the 3 together in case anyone has any want and space for 3 queens together 😍🙏🏽

They arrived to the shelter as a trio of female Shepherds. They come from the countryside, where they, like many other animals who had to be divided between various rescues, had been under the care of a woman who sadly took her own life, and the animals stayed behind 🥺

They are of course very bonded and live well together, but they also each have their own characters and are also independent individuals.

They love the dog park so definitely would need a big garden/ land.

💛 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR JERRY 💛

He has been sick in hospital 🥺👉🏽

But he now needs a foster home to recover in as he can’t go back to the shelter. It’s too risky and stressful.

Ideally an experienced home with no other dogs while he’s recovering.

🩷 FLOR 🩷

Beautiful girl Flor is the last of the mama Nati puppies looking for her forever home 🥺🙏🏽

The other 5 babies are all now reserved/ adopted, so we need to find a home for beautiful Flor 🥰😍

She is around 11 weeks old, very happy and healthy, had 2 vaccinations completed and the next ones are booked next week , so she is ready to leave now.

Mama is a small podenco and dad were not sure, but maybe pinscher, so they look to be small, maybe medium.
