My last sit in Peru was super special and a first: I didn't just take care of a house but a whole plant medicine retreat center!
Cuddles at the fire, an afternoon at the river, hikes up the mountains or walks to the local market - Layca, Tirin 🐶, Luna and Aya 🐱 were wonderful company. The chickens and fish too, of course!

I decided to stay in the valley a little longer, sent out some wishes to the universe and right on time a friend referred me to a friend who needed help with her two kitties immediately. So I moved to the neighboring town to spend time with Ceviche and Mago, two of the most cuddly cats with the weirdest sleeping positions I've ever taken care of. They turned one year during my stay so we threw a big cuddle party ♥️

Without any concrete plans we headed to the Colombian Amazon and ended up taking care of cats, dogs, chickens, a rooster, geese, and monkeys - yes monkeys! (okay we didn't really take care of them, they came to the property to steal bananas every day 🐒) in the middle of the rainforest. Manifestation at its best! 💚

With my second housesit in Ecuador I ticked another dream off my bucket list: to experience life in the Andes mountains for a while ⛰️
I had the pleasure to live on a magical little coffee and avocado farm in company of two wonderful little creatures: Kiki, the extrovert, always brave and maybe a little bit too adventurous, making friends wherever she goes, and Zac, rather introverted and socially awkward at times but very loyal and always gentle and sweet. We went on hikes together every other day, they joined me for my yoga practice and getting a tan in the equator sun, for coffee picking, watering the vegetable garden or simply just hanging out with me and their doggo companions who regularly came for a visit from town. Very different personalities but the best of friends 🤍🤍

It's been a while since I last took care of so many dogs at once and I just adored this pack of very different doggo personalities with one thing in common: their love for cuddles and more cuddles 😍
Bobby, my little skinny rescue husky who turned me into a doggie nurse and stalked me all around the house and beyond,
Luna, the most gentle black beauty who loved to occupy my bed whenever I left the door open for just a second,
Gargoyle, my favorite pitti in the whole world who enjoys his daily sunbaths and digs into your lap to ask for more cuddles (He's my secret favorite. Is a dog sitter allowed to have favorites?),
Valentina, the sweetest princess warrior who, despite suffering from Cushings, is the most active loving little furball and
Twilight, free soul and forever a mystery ❤️
Intense but beautiful and definitely unforgettable experience.

I couldn't have wished for a better first week of my first time in South America. As someone who's not a city person at all, I was a bit worried about spending so much time in Ecuador's capital at first but got lucky enough to live right next to one of the biggest city parks of the continent in which I spent a big part of my day roaming around with two of the most well-trained doggos I've ever cared for. Cooper and Boa were the sweetest and I loved every second of my time there.

During my layover in Madrid on my way to South America, I had the pleasure to cater for my youngest clients thus far, Yuna and Kali. Such tiny little creatures but already the biggest rascal personalities, love them 😍
