¿La conocías? Es tan única que parece sacada de una historia de ciencia ficción. Hoy te contamos 5 curiosidades sobre este pequeño anfibio:
1️⃣¡Puedes ver sus órganos! Tiene el vientre completamente transparente. Si la miras por debajo, puedes ver su corazón, hígado e intestinos en funcionamiento.
2️⃣Miniatura tropical. Son muy pequeñas, de apenas 2 a 3 cm, y viven en los bosques húmedos de América Central y Sudamérica.
3️⃣Maestras del camuflaje. Su espalda es de un verde brillante que se mezcla con las hojas. Vista desde arriba o abajo, ¡es casi invisible!
4️⃣Padres protectores. En muchas especies, el macho se encarga de cuidar los huevos hasta que nacen los renacuajos.
5️⃣Son bioindicadores: su presencia señala que el ecosistema está sano. Por eso, protegerlas también es proteger el medio ambiente.

Have you heard of it? It's so unique it seems straight out of a science fiction story. Today we’re sharing 5 fascinating facts about this tiny amphibian:
1️⃣ You can see its organs! It has a completely transparent belly. If you look underneath, you can see its heart, liver, and intestines working.
2️⃣ Tropical miniature. They’re very small—just 2 to 3 cm—and live in the humid forests of Central and South America.
3️⃣ Masters of camouflage. Their backs are a bright green that blends in with the leaves. Seen from above or below, they’re almost invisible!
4️⃣ Protective parents. In many species, the male takes care of the eggs until the tadpoles hatch.
5️⃣ They’re bioindicators: their presence signals a healthy ecosystem. Protecting them also means protecting the environment.
