Good afternoon, Big Red family. Just thought I'd drop you a little update. It's me, Tigger. I'm actually now called Tiggy. Mother calls me Tiggy because I jump up and down a lot. She says I'm a little Tiggy. So that is me being renamed, I'm guessing. Anyway, here I am, out with all my friends. We go on such lovely walks. We have lovely lunches. We, I go everywhere with my new mama. I'm really, really having a lovely life. I look shiny and new. I've really come on in leaps and bounds with my getting up and down the stairs and long walks, and I'm loving life. And I especially love my mum. So I just wanted to say thank you all for getting me where I am. As always, a special thanks to Sara Morla and all of you, of course, that helped fund me arriving to Big Reds. We love you all, and please keep sharing, caring, and donating. Thank you all. Tiggy.

Good morning, Big Red family,

Milo here... although some of you may remember me as Gordon!

I have some very exciting news. I have officially been adopted and I'm now living my happily ever after. My new family are absolutely wonderful. I have three young girls who don't stop cuddling me, and honestly, I think I've hit the jackpot. My new mum and dad adore me too, and I couldn't be happier.

Now that I've found my forever home, I have a little favour to ask on behalf of all my fellow felines still waiting.

Please, please keep sharing the kittens. Even with all the amazing work Cheryl is doing trapping mums and getting them through the TNR programme, there are still more kittens this year than we've seen in a very long time. Big Reds is full, the fosters are busy, and the other rescues we work alongside are all feeling the same pressure.

There are so many little faces still waiting for families of their own, just like I was.

So please, share, share, share. Every share gives another kitten a chance of finding their happy ending.

Thank you for helping me find mine.

Lots of love,

Milo (formerly Gordon) 🐾❤️😺

Owwwwer Mrs.

So, pardon the pun, but the story is out...

I did a little thing. Well, Richard Seal and Jed made me do it, and it certainly wouldn't exist without them. Paul Baxter also deserves a mention, along with so many other people who have encouraged me along the way.

For years, people have been telling me I should write my boring life story. Instead, I thought I'd start by hiding behind the animals and letting them tell theirs!

From little acorns grow mighty trees, and this is it... Book 1of owwwww so many.

I haven't got the faintest clue how to drive Amazon, so I'll add the link and hope for the best. Apparently it's only available on Kindle UK at the moment. I've no idea why, and I've absolutely no idea if it'll eventually come as a proper book that you can fall asleep on and dribble into, making all the pages stick together! 😉😜

So, as usual, I've got no clue. Please don't ask me any technical questions. Richard, Jed, or Paul might know the answers!

Obviously, some of the money will go to the animals. After all, it is their book. But this is also my little venture while I'm off on my mini adventure, having the time of my bloody life.

I think I feel proud, shocked, humbled, grateful... if I'm honest, it's all a bit of a blur.

Thank you to everyone involved, and thank you to anyone who buys a copy. You all helped me build my dream for the animals, and now you're helping me chase a little dream of my own.

Who knows where this journey will lead, but this is the beginning.

Thank you all. ❤️

Good morning, Big Red family, Bobby now renamed Robbie here.

I just wanted to pop on and say a huge thank you to everyone who helped me get to where I am today.

First of all, thank you to Emma, who found me on Facebook and made sure I got safely to Big Reds. Thank you to my wonderful new mum and dad. And of course, thank you to my new wifey. Yes, I've got a wifey now, and you'll be seeing her in a minute!

When I arrived at Big Reds, I was a very different dog. I was distressed, withdrawn, frightened, and honestly quite broken. I didn't know how to trust, and I wasn't sure what life had in store for me.

But look at me now.

My personality has finally come shining through. I've been allowed to settle at my own pace, exactly how I needed to. My new mum and dad listened carefully to all the advice from Tash and followed it every step of the way. They gave me time, patience, understanding, and most importantly, love.

Suella was also absolutely adamant that I needed another dog in my life to help me learn how to be a dog again. I'm so glad everyone listened, because having a canine companion has changed everything for me.

And that's where my beautiful new wifey Tia comes in.

She is the best thing that's ever happened to me, apart from my mum and dad, of course. Together they've given me confidence, happiness, and a life I never thought possible.

So thank you to every single person who shared my posts, supported my journey, believed in me, and helped me find my forever family.

This is no longer a foster home.

This is my home.

I am officially adopted.

Lots of love,

Robbie (and Wifey Tia) ❤️ 🐾

Over and out. 🐾❤️

Good morning, Big Red family.

Pippa here, reporting in from my new home in Hammersmith!

Well, I finally arrived at my destination. Apparently Hammersmith is quite posh, so I shall have to do my best to fit in. You never know, I might even bump into Trigger one day. We've never actually met, but surely there must be some special connection between us as fellow Big Reds dogs. Maybe that's just me being sentimental!

I arrived very late, although I honestly couldn't tell you what day it was. Everything has become a bit of a blur recently. The journey is quite hard on us dogs, even when we're very well looked after, and I certainly was.

A huge thank you to Dave and his wonderful crew for getting me safely here. I must admit, Dave is a bit of a giant from my perspective, and I was a little nervous of him at first. But Kev was my special looker-after on the journey. He was gentle, kind, and made sure I felt safe every step of the way. Thank you, Kev.

When I arrived, I met my new mum, and she is absolutely wonderful. She listened carefully to all of Suella's instructions, which meant so much to me because I am quite a nervous girl until I get to know people. She has taken everything at my pace, reassuring me that I am safe and loved, and that this is my forever home.

And do you know what?

I actually believe her.

My mum has promised me a few days of doing exactly what I want, with no pressure at all. Just time to settle, relax, and find my paws. Suella is over the moon about that, and so is Tash. Mum sent Suella a lovely message this morning, and although I didn't read it myself, I know it made the girls very happy. That makes me happy too.

I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped me on my journey. From getting me out of that horrid pound, to caring for me at Big Reds, to helping me travel all the way to my forever home here in the UK.

I couldn't have done it without you.

Now, I must get on with the very important business of settling into my new life. But don't worry, my mum has promised updates, so you'll be hearing from me again.

Until then, please keep sharing, keep caring, and please keep supporting Big Reds Animal Association. They can only keep helping dogs like me because of your kindness and generosity.

Big Red family, you are amazing.

Love,

Pippa of Hammersmith ❤️🐾

We Need Your Help 🐾
Today we spent €72 on kitten food alone.
If you're able to make a donation or purchase some kitten food, we would be incredibly grateful.
Right now, we are overwhelmed with kittens. Almost every day, we receive requests to take in more, and just yesterday we welcomed another 5 kittens after being told they would otherwise be thrown out. Thankfully, their mum was sterilised today, helping to prevent even more unwanted litters.
At the moment, we have 18 kittens at the rescue, all around 8–10 weeks old, and every one of them is looking for a loving forever home.
We are so grateful to our amazing foster carers:
🐱 Cheryl is caring for 7 kittens aged 5–6 weeks.
🐱 Fiona is caring for another 7 kittens.
🐱 Lisa and Danielle are looking after many more, alongside our other wonderful foster families.
Without our fosters, we simply couldn't cope. There isn't enough space at the rescue to accommodate all of these kittens, which is why our foster carers are such a vital part of the team.
The reality is that if suitable homes cannot be found, these kittens will eventually need to be sterilised and remain at the rescue for much longer, taking up space that could help other cats and kittens in need.
Every donation, bag of kitten food, share of this post, and adoption enquiry makes a difference. Thank you for supporting us and helping these kittens get the future they deserve. ❤️🐾
