Intestinal health plays a key role in optimising nutrient utilisation and improving productive performance in broilers. Intestinal microbiota plays a key role in laying hen performance. A high presence of potentially pathogenic bacteria can affect intestinal balance, nutrient utilisation and faecal consistency, with a direct impact on productivity and egg cleanliness.

In a trial with 224 Brown laying hens, 𝗔𝗹𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀 achieved:
