On our programme we visit the outstanding Yeguada de la Cartuja. The oldest stud farm in the world, dedicated to the Carthusian horse. Unique bloodlines that have maintained purity over five centuries. It is truly like stepping back in time.

Good morning 🌞. Last week we had return visitor Marco from Italy taking part on our four-day programme.

His choice of visits included: a two hour sunset beach ride on a stunning Cádiz golden beach, a visit to the Military stud to learn all about the history of the PRE, and, to see the display of working horsemanship at the Domecq farm.

Marco took part in lessons with our amazing top Andalusian showman. Having the experience to ride two of Pedro's talented display horses. Marco finished the four-days with lessons in the Doma Vaquera discipline with Spanish champion Álvaro. Learning true precision in the art.

The aim behind our tours is to give all the chance to learn from only the best and to have a purely educational experience that is totally dedicated to the PRE.

Today we introduce Alvaro who teaches the Doma Vaquera, Garrocha and working Equitation lessons on our programme. A highly skilled rider who holds many awards that include: Spain, Andalusia and Team championships.

Alvaro's lessons pay great attention to detail. He expressively goes through all the movements and how they should correctly be ridden. Alvaro enthusiastically demonstrates on his very trained horses during sessions, to increase the awareness of the exact preparation needed.

Alvaro's lessons are immense fun and all participants finish with a memorable experience and enhanced knowledge of the working disciplines.

Visitors on our programme have the chance to visit the very special Military stud farm (Yeguada Militar) headquartered in Andalusia. Dedicated to the breeding of PRE and Spanish Arab horses. Founded in 1847, it became the State Military stud farm in 1893. In the 20th century as the need for cavalry horses declined, the studs emphasis shifted to become a genetic reservoir to preserve the bloodlines of the PRE and Arab horse. They governed the breeding of the PRE making it accessibly to all until the ANCCE took over the role in the early 2000's. The YM continue their dedication and great work to this day. Beautiful and correct horses!

Muy buenos días from the equipo. On our day programme you have the opportunity to visit the very special Ganadería Gabriel Sánchez (GS). The family owned stud has been breeding quality, functional Spanish horses and cattle for over a hundred years.

You will be devoutly welcomed by Francisco, the farms manager and trainer, who has grown up with GS following his Father's footsteps. Francisco regularly presents the stud's horses in ANCCE (the Spanish horse breed association) in conformation classes and dressage competition.

Francisco takes us on a gentle stroll through the meadows proudly showing us the mares and foals of the year. The future generation of the PRE. We then see him putting the stallions through their daily training routine. Pure meditation!

Francisco teaches the classes on correct PRE presentation. This includes: correct preparation, handling and attire.

Much can be learn't from this very humbling visit 🇳🇬🐴🇪🇦.
