Tag along on a Sunday walk day walk with the club!

On Sundays we meet up with our dogs to socialise in healthy and fun ways 🐶🐶🐶

So many of us have reactive, pulling and over aroused dogs that do great in the living room but as soon as you step out it turns into a battle. Sounds familiar? You’re not alone 😉

This is why we are here. To provide you with REAL LIFE TRAINING.

Stop struggling. Just DM me and we’ll get started!

Behind the scenes 😅
This is a mess, and I like it. The camera was out and we danced for a bit. Gunnar is such a good little man that loves this type of stuff when the time is right.

“Obedience” can be so much more than “do this do that”

Have fun with your dogs 💚

Meet Daphne! A feisty power house trapped in a tiny fur covered body with not very friendly intentions. The first time I met her she tried to bite me and she 100% would have if given the chance. Her human- and dog reactivity was off the charts when I met her and her family but I can safely say that we are one damn good path!!!

We’ve started the individual sessions and Daphne is ready to graduate to the group activities very soon. The future looks bright! Not even halfway through the reactivity program and look at her now!

Whenever longer periods of time pass between sessions there’s a reason - the dogs are getting better and the families put in the work. This is Alfie.

This you man has a bite history, dog- and human directed aggression and reactivity in the past and you know what else he has? Dedicated people around him putting that do what has to be done.

When I first met him he would lunge and bark left and right and he was so tense that you could feel it, he was a pressure cooker with paws.

Today we checked in with his dog + dog skills, impulse control around skateboards and much more!

Proud of you all!

Yesterday we picked up ROLF - our new family member! We will spam the interwebs with puppy development stuff (& our normal dog reactivity content of course) and we can’t wait to show you more of this little man!

Big thanks to .zk9 for giving us this opportunity 💚

Most people with a reactive dog are doing the same three things. Avoiding triggers. Carrying treats. Hoping it gets better.

I get it. That’s what everyone tells you to do.

But if I had a reactive dog, I wouldn’t manage the problem. I’d solve it.

That means building real communication with my dog before I ever worry about the trigger. Teaching them what TO do when another dog appears, not just how to survive being 20 metres away from one. Using training that actually let me get a clear message through, no guessing, no bribing, no white-knuckling the lead.

The goal was never a dog that just about copes on a walk. It’s a dog that’s genuinely calm, checks in with you, and makes walks something you actually look forward to.

That’s not a fantasy. That’s what happens when you stop managing and start communicating.

If your dog is reactive and you’re exhausted from just surviving every walk, DM me the word REACTIVE and I’ll tell you exactly where I’d start.

Time question some bad training advice again!

People OFTEN say “reward calm behaviour” but true calm and settling involve excitement and expectations, it’s more about “I’m happy with what I have and can relax”

You can use food when training being still, sure. BUT, ask yourself - is it keeping your dig awake?

Nobody needs to get paid for taking a nap. That feels good as it is. Just make sure you:

- Play with your dog 🎉
- Exercise your dog 🐕
- Mentally stimulate your dog 🧠
- Let them go potty 🚽

After that, it’s ok to just ask them to take a chill pill for some time😉

Enjoy your dogs!
