After 24 hours in quarantine getting rid of all those ticks and fleas Nova has just loved meeting some of her her kennel mates and is the sweetest, loving tiny pointer girl, she's eating well and will be seeing the vets tomorrow but for now we just need to get some weight on this bag of bones which will be a slow and gradual process....

This little older dog went missing a few days ago in Purchena, he's an older dog with hearing and sight impairments so his owners are very worried about him please keep a look out for him.....

New boy Jack has settled in extremely well, he loves being with the other dogs and is a very happy, playful and friendly little scruffy boy .....
Jack is only a young boy about 18 months and just a little boy about 7kg he's super friendly and affectionate and loves lots of attention, he's not particularly keen on being on a lead but we are working on that but very clean in his penn, he's going to the vets on Monday for his next health check and will start his vaccinations, get his passport and blood tests and be available for adoption....

No enquiries for the lovely little Gigi, she's come on so much and has developed into a loving, happy and playful little girl.....
Gigi was brought into our care a very frightened little girl after being found on the streets but with some time and patience and lots of TLC she's literally like a different dog, she loves to play with toys, her kennel mates and her people, she can still be a little nervous initially but some treats normally help with that....
Gigi is around 1 year old, and about 8.5kg so just a little girl, she's spayed and has her passport and up to date vaccinations, her blood tests were clear, she walks nicely on her lead and harness and has been a very clean girl in her penn....

We had a call last night about this painfully thin Pointer girl who turned up in the Arboleas area, she was took to a local ladys house last night and has arrived into our care this morning, as you can see by the photos she's in a terrible state but still a total sweetheart....
She's dragging a back leg which is possibly an old injury as she doesn't appear to be in pain, we are initially treating her for external parasites as she's full of ticks and started her on a feeding plan of small meals throughout the day, she will see the vet on Monday....
We have named her Nova and her bright new future starts today ...

Our beautiful Lucia left this morning on the happy bus along with some beautiful pups from Puppy rescue and some gorgeous dogs from HAA, all off to the good life .....
Will the amount of dogs being abandoned in this area ever stop, its never ending, these are some of the lucky ones....
