CASTLES OF GREDOS RIDE- DAY 6! This was a magnificent mountain riding through 3 different valleys. In the morning we rode up the mountain to the highest place of the ride, Puerto de Chía (1,900 m), with a magnificent view of the Corneja river valley in the back and the Alberche river valley in the front. Tapas break at San Martin de la Vega with the views of the Gredos Mountains, after, we crossed the Alberche river and continue back to the Tormes River valley where we started the ride! Thank you very much everyone for coming and for coming back! 💕

CASTLES OF GREDOS RIDE- DAY 5- We had a great day today! Agsin ong hours in the saddle, allowing for excellent canters in the morning through the flat, open Corneja River Valley to Bonilla de la Sierra, an important medieval town with a beautiful church. We enjoyed lunch in the countryside, back to the mountains in the afternoon with an stunning last part of the day with a bit of climbing up!! Such an espectacular day on exceptional horses!! Tomorrow more and better!!

CASTLES OF GREDOS- DAY 4! Today’s ride was wonderful, through holm oak woods and pastures in a rural region characterized by stone walls and traditional farming. We crossed the 14th and 15th-century bridges and castles at the medieval villages of El Barco de Ávila (Emilio's birthplace) and Puente del Congosto, followed by a riverside picnic and swim!!

The afternoon features an active ride with canters to Hoyorredondo. We stay at La Trocha de Hoyorredondo, a beautiful rural inn where you can see the horses resting from your window!! The magical place!!

CASTLES OF GREDOS RIDE- DAY 3- A long day allowed you to discover the most beautiful views of Gredos Mountains, we rode down the Tormes river valley riding through small and remote medieval villages. Lunch at Aliseda de Tormes, beside the Tormes river and its medival bridge. In the afternoon down the opened valley with a different landscape around with good canters to El Barco de Ávila! Looking forward to tomorrow!

CASTLES OF GREDOS RIDE - DAY 1
After meeting at the Madrid airport, we transferred to the Gredos Mountains, stopping in Ávila for a short visit. It is an amazing medieval walled town and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We are now enjoying a delicious welcome dinner in a mountain village at 1,600m altitude, with beautiful views of the highest peaks in the Sierra de Gredos. Lovely people, old and new friends, and we are looking forward to tomorrow’s adventures! 😁

PILGRIMAGE TO GUADALUPE- DAY 4- Already in the Villuercas Global Geological Park by UNESCO in our way to Guadalupe. It is among Spain's most beautiful towns, with its Monastery (another UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the Villuercas-Ibores-Jara UNESCO Global Geopark. This heritage complex offers an exceptional opportunity to discover and enjoy one of the country's few geoparks at canters! Beautiful day and lovely people!!

PILGRIMAGE TO GUADALUPE RIDE - DAY 3
A long day in the saddle allowed us to enjoy the magnificent Dehesa landscape. We have now entered the Villuercas Geopark, where Guadalupe is located, arriving at our destination just as the sun was setting. It was a beautiful experience
