This mare was presented with a severe large colon impaction that failed to respond to medical management. Due to the lack of improvement, exploratory surgery was performed, and an enterotomy was carried out to relieve the obstruction.

Following surgery, she made an excellent recovery and has now been discharged home to continue her rehabilitation.

These two horses presented with severe laminitis that was unresponsive to routine medical management and corrective shoeing.

With months of dedicated treatment and careful monitoring both cases showed remarkable recovery.

This mare presented with sudden severe epistaxis, a condition that can be fatal if not treated immediately.

She was diagnosed with guttural pouch mycosis. Due to involvement of both the internal and external carotid arteries, the common carotid artery was ligated to control the hemorrhage.

A laser guttural pouch fenestration was also performed to help eliminate the fungal plaque. Post operatively, the mare received daily topical antifungal treatment and immobilization of the plaque through the endoscopy.

Five weeks after surgery, she has made a full recovery and has returned to her normal routine.
