At the beginning of 2017 the founder, Zeina Emparez, started the shelter with the aim to provide the very needed help to hundreds of cats in the district of Giza. Zeina started this project in a small apartment where she rescued and nursed back to health more than 1200 cats. What started as a small project has grown with the h

elp of sponsors, donors and volunteers in Egypt and in many other countries. Thanks to this, Zee Shelter has been able to find a forever home to more than 800 cats in the past 5 years. In 2019 the efforts made it necessary to look for a bigger, safer place where all cats get the needed food, rest and medical attention, so that they can recover and be prepared for adoption. I keep begging people everyday to sponsor a cat or dog so we can keep running the shelter im so embarrassed and disappointed we entered 30 new cat in last 3 weeks so please help them 💔💔

Last week, we rescued 10 innocent cats from a deeply abusive situation. They were living in fear, neglect, and unimaginable suffering. Some were weak, some were sick, and all of them were traumatized. No animal deserves to live like that… no animal deserves to be forgotten.

They are finally safe now — but safety is only the beginning of their long journey to recovery.

1 passed 🌈😢and one at the vet covered.

We urgently need your help to provide:

🐾 Food and clean shelter

🐾 Veterinary care and medications

🐾 Vaccinations and basic treatment

🐾 Love, patience, and rehabilitation

Caring for 10 rescued souls at once is overwhelming, and we cannot do this alone. Every small donation can mean the difference between pain and healing… between fear and safety… between survival and hope.

🚨 Vaccines Needed — Please Help Protect Them 💔🐾

We urgently need support to cover vaccination costs for our rescued animals. Vaccines are essential to keep them safe from deadly diseases and to prepare them for adoption.

Many of our rescued cats and dogs come from the streets weak and unprotected. Without vaccinations, their lives remain at risk.

It’s £7 per one and we need 40 ampules for now please 🙏

Our shelter’s deep freezer has completely stopped working — it’s dead.

This freezer is essential for storing food and medicine for our rescue animals. Without it, food will spoil, supplies will be wasted, and our animals will suffer. 💔😥
