She was just a tiny puppy named Tag when the train hit her… bleeding, in pain, and terrified. We rushed to save her, but her little arm couldn’t be saved — we had to amputate. She healed at the shelter, still full of love, quietly wondering if someone would ever choose her.

And someone did. 😍

A beautiful, kind-hearted family in the US saw her, not her missing leg. They saw her spirit, her light, her will to live and love, and gave her the life she always deserved.

Her name is now Doudou, and she’s living the life of her dream. Running free, cuddled in warmth, surrounded by love.

This is why we do what we do.

كانت جَروه صغيرة اسمها تاج، ولما القطر خبطها، كانت بتنزف، خايفة، ووجعها أكبر من جسمها الصغير. لحقناها، وعملنا كل اللي نقدر عليه… لكن إيدها ماكنتش قابلة للإنقاذ واضطرّينا نبترها.

قعدت في الملجأ فترة تتعافى، بروحها الجميلة وقلبها الطيب، وعيونها كلها تساؤل: “هو في حد هياخدني كده؟”

ولقينا الرد.
عيلة طيبة من أمريكا شافوا فيها مش النقص، لكن القوة والجمال والإصرار على الحياة. شافوا قلبها النضيف، وحبها للحياة… وقرروا يدوها بيت دافي وحضن حقيقي.

دلوقتي اسمها دودو، وبتعيش أجمل حياة… بتجري، بتلعب، ومليانة حب وأمان

دي مش مجرد حكاية…

“From the very first moment they were close. As if they had known each other forever. As if Queenie had invisibly pushed them towards each other. Today I can hear children’s laughter again and see joy in Pola’s eyes. Today Julka has a new friend. Not instead of Queenie – but thanks to her. Because it was Queenie who taught her to love dogs with all her heart. And now she is definitely looking down on all this, wagging her tail with joy.”
