🎊We've named this pup Joell🎊

He's a sweet and well-behaved dog who gets along with both people and other dogs. While he may have an owner, no one has come forward to claim him. As a result, we will be placing him up for adoption for 24 hours before releasing him back to the streets.

He has successfully completed his TNR process, which includes neutering, a rabies vaccination, deworming, and microchipping.

This adult terrier mix was found lost in La Pradera neighborhood in Cotacachi and brought to our hospital.

She’s very friendly and seems well cared for, so we believe she might have a family looking for her.

✨Our team is absolutely thrilled about the incredible donation from Project AnimalAid. Their generous donation of much-needed surgical instruments will allow us to retire worn-out tools and complete essential spay/neuter packs for our procedures. 🤩

We’re also deeply grateful for the additional hospital supplies they sent with Dr. Skip Brod. Project AnimalAid has been an exceptional partner and collaborator, and thanks to their support, we’re now even better equipped to help more animals in need. 🙌🐾

We’re thrilled to welcome back Dr. Skip Brod and introduce Dr. Dennis Law on his first visit to Amici Cannis. The two will be leading a surgical orthopedic training for fracture repairs for our veterinary team this coming Saturday and Sunday.

We’re deeply grateful to these accomplished veterinarians for generously donating their time and expertise. Their support is helping Amici Cannis strengthen our skills, grow as a team, and continue elevating the quality of care we provide to our community’s animals.🤩

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we’ve located the owner of the sweet Rottweiler who was brought to us by municipal agents. He’s now safely reunited with his family! 💙 We’re thrilled that this story has a happy ending.

🙏🏼 We need your help to save Tequila. This 2-month-old Rottweiler mix is fighting for his life after testing positive for parvovirus, a deadly virus that hits puppies especially hard. 🥹

Tequila is now receiving intensive care at our hospital in Cotacachi, and your support can make the difference between life and death.

💔 His guardian, Alex, has trusted us with his rescued animals before. This time, he brought in Tequila, a puppy recently rescued by his grandmother. Just days after being taken in, Tequila began showing signs of severe illness. When Alex rushed him to us, we ran a parvo test, and it came back positive.

Parvo treatment is intensive and costly, and we rely on donations to provide this level of care. Your contribution today will help cover Tequila’s treatment and give him a real chance at survival. The cost of treatment and hospitalization is estimated at $250.

This little beauty is Mai, a 6-month-old sweetheart who just completed her TNR , but before we release her, we want to give her one more chance to find a loving family. 💛
