It’s FOSTER FRIDAY! We have so many amazing Coconut Hounds and Coconut Cats that are currently available for adoption that you can view at https://www.wagtopia.com/search/org?id=158349. Today we are featuring SQUICKPEA - a quirky boy looking for his forever home.

SquickPea was found living on the streets with his mom Margarita and his brother Nuggles. Both Margaria and Nuggles have been adopted, and it’s just SquickPea left. They were all brought to the haven for safe keeping due to threat of being poisoned. Nuggles is Magarita's mini-me and SquickPea looks completely different than his brother and mom. SquickPea’s personality is also a lot different than his mom and brother. He marches to a different drum... a very energetic and vocal drum! If something catches his attention, he will let you know about it. SquickPea is unique looking with a very large head and long nose, but he is still so adorable! SquickPea is an energetic dog and loves to snuggle and play.

Shakira was found in a box with her siblings while we were providing transport for two mother dogs to be spayed. The puppies were in poor condition, as they were losing fur and full of parasites. They have since healed and grown into lovely, healthy dogs! Shakira is playful and energetic, but can be timid, especially with other dogs. She is very sweet and friendly, and loves her foster dad very much! Shakira is great with cats and kids. She has a quirky crooked tail, just like three of her siblings. Paolo was rescued from a severe beating, and had lots of injuries as well as mange. He has since healed, and is ready for his forever home! Paolo is super friendly and energetic - a very active dog. He would do best as the only pet in the home. Paolo is extremely loving and attaches easily - he is really eager to connect with someone and have a stable, loving home.

Maddy was found with her siblings who were left in a box outside of a kid’s summer camp at the Forever Wild school. She is an incredibly smart and sweet girl with so much love to give! Maddy is very athletic, making her a great jumper and climber, so she would be an amazing hiking buddy! Maddy tends to hang back a bit, but once she is comfortable, she is so silly and funny, and does the cutest butt wiggle.
