- Du kan låne en plantekasse for en sæson og dyrke dine egne grønsager, blomster eller lige hvad du har lyst til.
- Skriv til Havekoordinatoren/admin på denne side, som kan fortælle hvordan du kommer igang og hvilke plantekasser der er ledige.
- Du skal have mulighed for at vande to gange om ugen HELE sommeren (eller sørger for hjælp til opgaven), samt komme til mindst tre havedage om året, så du bliver en del af fællesskabet og har nogle at spørge til råds og evt.

Lets celebrate that our long longing for a info board is over and it is finally here 😍
We have for years wanted a place to communicate with visitors in the garden, the cafe and the culturehouse, so you all know that there IS A cool Community Garden in Valby “Valbyhaven”, When we are “open”, What we do and how you can participate 🌿🐝🍒👨🏼‍🌾

Thank you all for a wonderful gardenday 🌱😀 We had the first and best Herbal teaparty, with serveral “tastings” and finding our favorite mix 🍵 Meanwhile another group was practical and setting up our beautyfull signpost 😍 Where you will see a lot of info from us, coming up 💚
We also did finish the brushwoodfence, cleaning for trash and a little maintenance on the foodforest guilds. Such a pleasure to work with the garden and you fellow beings 🌿🐝🤗

Thank you for todays work, dear gardeners 👩🏻‍🌾👨🏼‍🌾👩🏻‍🌾💚 We got a wonderful brushwoodfence started, cutted 1/3 of the hedge, made a new tilepile and emtied the old compost (which is now new amazing soil on the hugelbed) ♻️🪵🍃 Also some pictures of all the flowers of may 🌸 Hope that you will stop by one day and enjoy our little green urban community garden 🤗

Todays gardenday is about making a “brushwood fence”, which is usefull for all kinds of bigger cuttings (hedges etc.), which makes 1. A new sheltered space in the garden, with less wind 2. A place where insect can stay in winter 3. A place which takes away your work of “put out branches on sidewalks to municipality” 4. A place where you can keep ALL biological materials and make nice local mulchlayer as well.
So much good in just one small tool, come and see how easy its done 🪵🪵👩🏻‍🌾

First gardenday this season 🌱 The sun came and helped us, with all the wonderful caretaking in our garden 👩🏻‍🌾🧑🏽‍🌾 Top four was: Lauras cookies 🍪 (thank you dear Laura Newton :)), removal of the last bikeparking (YES finally), a little “soiltour/talk” 🍂🪱 and the beautyful Valbyhaven sign is back again (thank you for fixing it Rasmus ♻️)

Dear fellow and follow urban gardeners.
Here is some picture from some of all the activities, gardendays, harvest and great people which has come to help and learn in and at the garden, through the years. We are grateful for all the good talks and transitioning you brought us and the garden this and past years.

Next season we are happy to announce that we have had funding from Valby Lokaludvalg/Miljøgruppen to another free gardencourse i april/may (4 thursday afternoons). So reach out if you want to be on the list for this course (only 12 spot). More info on the course will come.

Thank you all for this season and looking so much forward to see you all again in 2025 :-D

Dear all followers 🌿 We just had our last gardenday and we both enjoyed the beautyfull autumm colours and last flowers in the garden and harvested a lot of new ideas for season 2025. Write us if you want to help, join or participate in following ideas - Workshops with hobs/beertasting/brewing, how to make you own herbal teas, how to grow mushrooms, guirilliagardening/seedbombs, knitting, boardgames, drawing or community dinning 😀
