Has Cia always loved water?

Yes — as long as she didn’t have to go all the way in and swim back out. That has come gradually. We tried to make the water exciting while also making sure she felt safe.

She cracked the code in the summer of 2023 when we were in Sweden.

Every now and then, it still needs to be made “exciting” — and luckily, there is the “holy grail” 😂

We all have our little guilty pleasures, and one of Cia’s… is Sun Lolly. She always gets the leftovers, even when we eat them in winter.

Warning ‼️ Long video 😂
After 4 months without real track training, Cia and I are finally back at it 🐾

Today: 400 m track, approx. 5 hours old, high grass and LOTS of tempting scents.
She made it to the goal and took the correct turns — but in classic Cia style, with plenty of side-to-side “creativity” and a nose that was a bit too high 😂

Too easy? Too boring? Too many delicious smells? Or just Cia being Cia? Who knows 😅

Next month we’re starting up properly again. Focus will be on markings, keeping the nose down, and rebuilding stamina after pregnancy and her 5 boys 💙

Goal: 1000 m / 20 h — we’re coming for you 😍

A little over a week ago, Hugo and Joey — aka Bodie — went to their new families as the last two boys.
A big thank you to everyone who followed along on our puppy adventure.

As my mother-in-law would say: From the bottom of my heart, thank you. 🙏🏻💙❤️

My little “maternity leave” is almost over 💙

The past 2.5 months have been filled with tiny paws, far too little sleep, “come on boys”, smiles, laughter, hard work, endless amounts of love, coordination throughout the whole house, fences and gates everywhere — and so many emotions.

Happiness. Frustration. Nervousness. Excitement. Uncertainty. Confidence. Joy. Tears. And everything in between.

It has been a time we will never forget.

Now Cia’s 5 big boys have been sent out into the big wide world, where the next chapter awaits with their new families. Further socialization, new experiences and lots of love are waiting for them 💙

Five brave boys — all different in their own way, but with one thing very much in common: they are social, and they loved every person they met while they were with us.

Hugo, Thomas aka Noah and Tobias aka Bobby are staying in Denmark.
Kesi aka Venca has found his new family in the Czech Republic.
And Joey aka Bodie has moved to Switzerland.

We are so proud, so grateful — and yes, also a little empty-hearted.

And Cia… she has been the most awesome mother ❤️

Min lille “barsel” er ved at være forbi 💙

De sidste 2,5 måned har været fyldt med små poter, alt for lidt søvn, “kom så drengene”, smil, grin, hårdt arbejde, bunker af kærlighed, koordinering i hele hjemmet, hegn og låger overalt — og en hel masse følelser.

Lykke. Frustration. Nervøsitet. Spænding. Usikkerhed. Sikkerhed. Glæde. Tårer. Og alt derimellem.

Det har været en tid, vi aldrig kommer til at glemme.

Nu er Cias 5 store drenge sendt videre ud i den store verden, hvor næste kapitel venter hos deres nye familier. Den videre socialisering, nye oplevelser og masser af kærlighed ligger foran dem 💙

Fem seje drenge — forskellige på hver deres måde, men med én stor fællesnævner: De er sociale, elskede alle mennesker de mødte mens de var hos os.

Hugo, Thomas aka Noah og Tobias aka Bobby bliver i Danmark.
Kesi aka Venca har fundet sin nye familie i Tjekkiet.
Og Joey aka Bodie er flyttet til Schweiz.

Vi er stolte, så taknemmelige — og ja, også lidt tomme i hjertet.
Og Cia… hun har været den mest awesome mor ❤️
