We are proud to present Saga from Moorland Village, our last foal of the year 🤎

Saga is by Húni frá Ragnheiðarstöðum and out of Efemía frá Litlu-Brekku ⭐
Efemía has a total score of 8.50, while Húni has a total score of 8.72 🤩

Saga is a very curious filly who already loves to jump around her mother and explore the world around her 🐴🤎

We look forward to following her development in the coming years ✨

Hyndla frá Púfum joins our breeding mares

Hyndla, whom we own together with Anne Sofie Nielsen, unfortunately suffered an injury last summer that ended her career as a riding horse.

We are therefore very excited that she will now become part of our breeding program, and we look forward to many wonderful offspring in the future.

Before starting her new journey as a breeding mare, Hyndla was shown for conformation earlier this month and with minimal conditioning due to her injury and without shoes, yet still achieved an impressive 8.07 for confirmation.

This year, Hyndla will be go to Húni frá Ragnheiðarstöðum.

First foal of the year, Funi from Moorland Village 🤍

He is by Húni frá Ragnheiðarstöðum and out of Sýn frá Kvíarhóli, both with strong evaluations and exciting qualities ⭐️

Húni frá Ragnheiðarstöðum has, among other things, received 9.5 for tölt, trot, and rideability, as well as 8.72 for conformation 🤩

Funi was born on the 19th around 10 PM and has already shown plenty of energy and personality. We look forward to getting to know him better and following his development in the years to come 🐴✨

Beautiful talented gelding for sale ✨

Himbrimi from Moorland Village is a harmonious and trusting 4 to 5 gaited gelding. He is 5 years old, around 140 cm tall, and well built with a beautiful brown color.

Himbrimi has a solid education. He loads straight onto the trailer and stands calmly with the farrier. He enjoys human contact and often approaches people with his ears forward. He is easy to handle both in the arena and out on trail rides. He is social and enjoys close contact and attention.

His pedigree is strong. Himbrimi is by Thór-Steinn frá Kjartansstöðum with a total score of 8.42 and out of Sýn frá Kvíarhóli with a total score of 8.27.

Himbrimi is young but already well trained. He suits a rider looking for a future competition horse and a reliable partner for many years ahead.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Moorland Village 🎄

At Moorland Village we would like to wish all our friends, customers, business partners and acquaintances a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ✨

Thank you all for being part of another wonderful year. We have been truly blessed with some very special foals in 2025 💕

Our beloved mare Syn has welcomed a beautiful little mare named Tibra. Tibra is by Blakkur from Þykkvabæ I🔥 A combination we are incredibly excited about.

We are also happy to share that Himnasending from HCL Hestar has had a lovely little mare named Vaka, also by Blakkur from Þykkvabæ I 💖

Finally, Efemía has once again blessed us with a promising stallion, sired by Evert from Slippen😎 A combination we are very proud of and excited to follow 💙

As we look ahead, we are filled with excitement and gratitude and look forward to everything the coming year will bring. We sincerely hope that you have had a wonderful year as well, and that the new year will be filled with happiness, success, and many memorable moments ✨

Dynjandi from Moorland Village is looking for a new home

Promising 4,5-gaited gelding with strong pedigree and a BLUP of 120

Dynjandi is a 6-year-old gelding with a fantastic temperament and an always positive attitude. He loves human contact, is easy to handle, and a true pleasure to be around.

He is a natural 4,5 gaited horse with tölt as his preferred gait. He has exceptionally large and supple movements, is very light on the reins, and carries himself naturally.

Dynjandi is incredibly easy in his gaits and very talented.
He has slightly below-average willingness in the arena and slightly above-average willingness out on trails.
He has not yet competed at shows but has been used in a clinic at Store Hestedag, where he was ridden in front of several thousand people.

Dynjandi still has much to learn and will thrive best with an experienced rider and in a setting where he can go on plenty of trail rides.

Dynjandi has an exceptionally strong pedigree:
His sire is Kveikur frá Stangarlæk (total score 8.76).
His dam is Syn frá Kvíarhóli (total score 8.27, with 8.42 for ridden abilities).

Dynjandi is an exciting prospect for both sport and leisure – with potential for much more in the right hands.
