I hadn't seen either one of my A. percivali for about 10 days, so I was worried that they had either magically escaped or died in the tank, so I decided to take out everything and dig through the substrate to find out. Wouldn't make sense to keep the tank going, if there were no lizards in it :p I am happy to say that they are alive and most certainly well! Both have grown a bit and definitely gotten fatter! So, I can conclude that my mini eco-system is working. I also had that confirmed as I went through the tank. The earthworms are thriving, the small mealworms are thriving and so are the woodlice! It's amazing to see. I have added some pics of the lizards themselves and a few of the tank as well :)

Attempted feeding out pairs of S. madagascarensis and L. splendida which we purchased at the Hamm show last weekend! It went very very well!

Went to the Hamm show yesterday and picked up a few animals! Super excited to be working with these guys!

Our C. Calotes have finally settled in enough for them not to get spooked every time we open the terrarium! To celebrate, we figured that it was only fair to take a few pictures of them! :D Enjoy!

We sold our entire collection and are virtually starting from scratch. Our focus is now called: NO RACKS! We will not have a lot of animals and to start up, we have booked 1.1 Calotes calotes for the Hamm show in December.
This is the terrarium that we have prepared for them! 125 cm tall, 76 cm wide and 37 cm deep. 2 UVB fluorescent lights along with 3 spot lamps for heat and lighting. There is also a misting system installed with 2 nozzles. We are looking forward to recieving this rare, beautiful and highly interesting species!!!

We will be closing down the website www.101reptiles.com. This is due to the fact that we have sold our entire collection and are taking a break. We will still be active on groups and selling some reptiles every now and then, so the page will remain. Thank you all for the massive support we have experienced, we hope you all keep in touch!

Breeding isn't always fun and games! This unfortunate hog is breathing and moving around so far, but will be humanely euthanized as it will most likely have a low quality of life otherwise or a slow death.
