Korábbi posztomban már említettem, hogy a kiszemelt kan megbetegedett, így B tervet kellett találnom, de gyorsan. Mivel Mona és Jasmine szinte egyszerre vannak időben, így a fizikai távolságokat csak úgy tudtuk legyőzni, ha behozatjuk az örökítőanyagot. Nagyon egyszerűnek tűnt 😁 24 órás garanciát vállaltak. Csakhogy a csütörtök reggel feladott anyag Kölnben ragadt hétfőig. Annak annyi lett sajnos. 😌 Új csomag hétfőn indítva, 24 órás idegőrlő várakozással, közben fohászok, hogy Jasmine még jó legyen! És ideért kedd délutánra, jó is volt szerencsére, így örömmel oszthatom a meg a hírt veletek!

Végtelen várakozás után elérkezett a pillanat: Jasmine első almára készül. Egy különleges szuka, aki kifinomultságával és lágyságával már eddig is belopta magát mindenki szívébe – most pedig életet adhat annak a szerelemnek, amely egy nem mindennapi kannal, a spanyol Alan-nél fonódott össze.

Alan nemcsak lenyűgöző küllemével és hibátlan egészségével hódít – benne él a mediterrán vér tüze, a büszke tartás, a magabiztos férfierő. Jasmine iránti rajongása pedig túlmutat a genetikán: ez a páros valóban egymásnak lett teremtve.

As I mentioned earlier, the studdog I had originally chosen unfortunately fell ill, so we had to come up with a Plan B – and fast. Since both Mona and Jasmine came into season at nearly the same time, the only way to overcome the physical distance was to import the semen.

It all seemed simple enough – they promised 24-hour delivery.
But the shipment sent out Thursday morning got stuck in Cologne until Monday. Sadly, that one was no longer usable…

A new shipment was sent out on Monday, followed by another nerve-wracking 24-hour wait, with plenty of crossed fingers and whispered prayers that Jasmine would still be ready!

And luckily – it arrived Tuesday afternoon, and everything was just right.

So I’m thrilled to finally share the news with you!

After a long wait, the time has finally come: Jasmine is expecting her first litter. A gentle, graceful girl who has captured many hearts – and now she’s about to share hers with the world, in the form of a love story written with the remarkable Alan.

Alan is not just a stunning Spanish male with perfect health and structure – he is fire and finesse in one: proud posture, confident presence, and a deep, unmistakable devotion to Jasmine. This match is more than pedigree – it’s connection.

We expect the litter at the end of May.

Divike update 2025.05.02.

Sokan érdeklődtök Divi állapota iránt. Több, mint egy hete posztoltam róla utoljára. Sajnos nem volt egy sima hét ez sem. Múlt hét pénteken délben elkezdett hányni, sokszor, a végén már vért, majd hátulról is sugárban jött. Gyomorvérzés és vastagbélfekély a szteroidoktól. Súlyosan vérszegény. Infúzió, rengeteg szuri. Másnap ugyanez. Állatorvos szerint végstádium.
Mit lehet még csinálni? Van egy szer, EPO. Ez egy doppingszer sportolóknak, de már tilos használni versenyeken. Viszont vérképző és kutyának is adható szigorú állatorvosi felügyelet alatt. Próbáljuk meg, már csak ebben bízhatunk. Két naponta kell szúrni több héten át. Legyen. Elkezdtük a kúrát, és visszavettük a prednisolont napi 8-ról napi 2 szemre.
Az étvágya drasztikusan visszaesett, ezzel a stabilitása is. Tegnap kritikus nap volt, az égadta világon semmit nem evett meg, de nem
is ivott sajnos és alig pisilt. Csináltam egy koktélt, azt fecskendeztem a szájába 5 ml-ként.
Ma reggelre annyi változás volt, hogy elkezdett inni magától, de kaja semmi! Próbáltam mindent is: csirkehusi, tepertő, sajt, rizs, krumpli, kolbasz, dió, joghurt, banán, stb… semmit nem kért. Elfordította a fejét a kajára.
Ma délben elfogadott a kezemből 3-4 husifalatot. Picit jobb a kedve, elment a kapuhoz ugatni. 😊 Kap még oxigent, azt látom az is segít kicsit.
Drukkoljatok, eléggé kivagyok. 😌

Background Story

Last year, Josie’s owner reached out to me, asking for my recommendation for a great stud dog for her.
I presented her with two options, and ultimately, the first one — a male I had been keeping an eye on myself — was chosen.
It had been my plan to breed both of my girls to him as well.

However, while breeders may plan, life often has other ideas.
Unfortunately, that male became ill, and I had to find a Plan B fairly quickly.

For Mona’s farewell litter, I chose a boy who had already proven himself to me.
I am extremely happy with the offspring we have from his previous litter — not only in show quality and work ability, but most importantly, in their outstanding temperaments!
That’s why I selected our Austrian prince, Duke, for Mona’s final litter.

A heartwarming season begins at Hanna’s Icons Kennel! 🩷🩷

Our home will soon be filled with tiny paws and happy tails. 🐾🐾🐾

We are joyfully awaiting Mona’s last litter and Jasmine’s very first, arriving at the end of May.

Gondoltam egyet és beraktam a kocsiba Divikét is. Elvittem a többiekkel sétálni. Ez egy mező, ahol közel parkolok, így ha elfárad hamar vissza tudom vinni az autóhoz. Annyira boldog volt! Próbált szaladni, eleinte még eléggé összegabalyodtak a lábai, de a végére szépen belejött. ❤️

Divike update 04.08-17.

Mivel sokan figyelemmel kíséritek Divike állapotát, gondoltam beszámolok a friss hírekről.
9 napja hoztam haza a kórházból, ahol agyvelőgyulladással és annak lefolyásával kezelték. Mióta itthon van szépen javult Divi, napról-napra stabilabban járt. Tegnapelőtt viszont az amúgy sem túl jó állagú végtermék folyékonnyá vált. Ez folyamatosan fennállt és nagyon legyengítette őt. Majd egyik reggel elkezdett hányni is. Teljes kétségbeesés, futkosás az orvoshoz, patikába, takarítás, fertőtlenítés töltötte be a napjaimat.
Csak banánt és rizst evett, azt is csak már este. Úgy vettük észre, hogy a látása is rosszabb lett ismét. Belenyomtam 3-4 óránként jó pár bolust, meg görcsoldót és végre elkezdett jobban lenni Divike! Ma végigaludta az éjszakát, ismét jóízűen eszik és nyugodtan alszik. Nagyon nem könnyű most ez az időszak, de kitartunk! Muszáj felerősödnie, sokan drukkolnak neki! 🙏

EDS 2025

We started the 2025 European Dog Show with 5 dogs. Among them were 3 youngsters who were only 10 months old, Jasmine and baby Brenda (Josie's little girl).

I opened the show with starting number 5805 and we entered Brendus, who despite his 5-month-old age was a real pro in the ring! The judge really liked her and finally placed her 2nd out of 6 baby dogs.

Then the youngsters followed in two rings, of course typical Murphy, calling in both the bi***es and the males at the same time. I can't duplicate yet, so I handed Norton over to Gábor, and I went in with Mango among the 19 young bi***es. The judge still included her in the first cut, so she made it into the top 10 at 10 months old!

There were 16 young males, Ray and Norton performed fantastically and judge Mrs Gabriella Ridarčiková (SK) put both boys on the podium! Ray became the 3rd and Norton the 4th most beautiful young male in Europe at barely 10 months old! It was a fantastic feeling.

Next came the open female field. The most crowded class, but I was used to it by now. I went in with Jasmine, the judge kept his eyes on her the whole time. He also watched her during the standing. After the individual judging, he kindly remarked several times that she was lovely. After the three rounds of judging, the excellent ones were called back and we were not called! So he gave Jasmine a very good performance. I got a small shock here. This dog has never received a very good performance before, and in fact, she even received 4th place at the last European show in Budapest at 15 months old in the entry level class.

In the fall, she became Best In Show at the retriever club show with an Irish breed judge, Interchampion, Slovenian Champion, Croatian Champion, Hungarian Champion, with several championships she started at just 4 years old. With multiple Crufts qualifications. Serious breed judges gave her class winner, breed winner titles, and breed group placements.

And here's what happened: for 130 euros, the judge didn't even bother to thank anyone - except for the first 4 places - for participating, or to tell him why he didn't give her a further prize. In the end, I went to him to ask why the dog got so good. His answer was: too heavy for me. I understand, meaning he's not the judge's type. Let's just say I should have thought that I wouldn't have to name a strong-boned, very furry golden bitch to Mr. Henric Fryckstrand. I'm the fool.

However, I still can't get over the humiliation that she didn't give him a very good result because of a deviation from the breed standard or a mistake! But because she's not his type!

This attitude towards the exhibitors is disappointing, humiliating, and incorrect. I've been to the female ring three times with dogs of different ages, so it's a fact of experience. In the male ring, the judge called everyone back and said goodbye to those she gave a very good result to one by one. Why couldn't Mr. Henric Fryckstrand do this?
