Whyte Ridge Veterinary Hospital is a established small animal and exotics veterinary hospital. We are an privately owned 3 doctor practice open Monday to Saturday (short day) no Sundays , evening or on-call duties. We offer a very competitive wage ( $25-30$ /per hour) and health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, CE allowance, uniform allowance, paid sick days, paid holidays within the first year of employment.
A generous hiring bonus of 2000$ and other perks will be considered on a case by case basis. Help with relocation costs will be also considered for out of province or out of country candidates.
Support with PAVE equivalent certification will be provided and considered for out of country candidates. Candidates have to be graduates of Canada RVT accredited programs.
Job description
We offer a fun and busy work environment where each individual is part of a successful and tight knit team. We work with dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, snakes, lizards, turtles and other small animals;
-you can either choose to work with cats and dogs or choose all species if you have a special interest in exotics;
- critical care nursing, administering medications to patients, applying bandages and splints, collecting and analyzing laboratory samples, producing radiographs, inducing and monitoring anesthesia, providing dental care and assisting in surgery;
