Christmas came with another little reunion 🎄🐾
Cathi travelled to Dresden for a family gathering - and Nukka came along for the ride. And with that, an unexpected bonus: seeing her son Emilius again 💙

True to family tradition, the excitement was… not exactly mutual. Emilius was clearly thrilled to see his mum, while Nukka handled the situation with a rather crazy attitude. Visiting sons, it seems from our Meadow Garden mothers (yes, Xandra, we’re also looking at you 😉), are not always welcomed with open arms.

Still, it turned into a very lovely meeting: good conversations, a long walk along the lake, and a quiet, comfortable hotel room to end the days. A gentle reunion, in its own very Nukka-like way - and a reminder that even when enthusiasm levels differ, these moments still matter 🤍

We hope you’re all having a peaceful holiday season, surrounded by those who matter most, two- and four-legged alike. 🎄✨ Merry Christmas from the Meadow Garden Malamutes 🐾

Happy 1st Barkday to our Catwalk Litter! 👑🐾
One year ago, Mama Miska was helping you tune those beautiful voices - singing along, teaching the notes, and making sure no howl was ever off-key.
Now, one year later, we hope you’re sharing your birthday songs with your furrever families, just as confidently as you once did with us ♥️🎶

*19.12.24* Happy Barkday, Cyra & Cayenne 💛❤️ keep shining, like the stars on a catwalk that you were meant to be ✨

Another year, another Happy Barkday to this most chaotic bunch Cathi’s Meadow Garden has ever had: The Aurora ‚Borealis‘ Litter turns 2 years old today 🥳

Here’s a Throwback to our desperate trial to take a family photo in Cathi’s Meadow Garden, with all of the 9 puppies, Mama Miska, and herself.
It took one Cathi to hold Miska that wanted to flee from that whirlwind rushing towards her (you see how she got out of her collar in one of the ‚group‘ photos) 🌪️, one Olivier to transport lost puppies back to where they were supposed to sit neatly in order (anyone remember that orderly photo we’ve got to take with the A Litter? Yeah - lost cause here), and one Tina stuck behind the camera, trying to capture whatever glimpse she could get of what seemed to be a ‚complete‘ catch - only realising afterwards that there’s not a single photo with all 9 puppies on it. But it is fine - we’ve had lots laughter during this shoot, and this memory will stay for many more Barkdays to come 💝

Feels like we’ve only said Good Bye yesterday. Maybe because we’re in frequent contact with many of our puppies’ forever families ♥️

Here’s a recap, photos in order of their Moving-Out-Date:
1) Bear 🖤 ever so sleepy and hungry like his name suggests
2) followed by his sister Mascha 💛 who was (and probably still is) the naughtiest of them all
3) Bjarki 💙 who did definitely not have a ‚Love-at-first-Sight‘-moment with his lovely new companion
4) Bessy Beauty 💚 already biting off the fingers of her forever mom before even leaving our kennel
5) Bören Blue 🩵 our plushy Chiccolina, honoring her father with some resemblance in this else dominating Miska-litter
6) Bright Jaro 💛 Tina‘s secret favourite, being the most gentle and polite puppy there has ever been
7) Boreal Luna ❤️ our lovely quiet Lady, never up to any mischief
8) Baldur 💚 our crybaby, approving of our choice for his forever mom upon spotting her for the very first time
9) Blue 💙 Mama Miska‘s little princess, and surely also her forever family’s

May they bring as much joy to their forever families as they brought us, their first family ♥️

If you’ve been following the blog on our website, you already knew about the arrival of our Elemental litter 🌿🔥❄️💨 By now the pups are almost 7 weeks old – soon ready to head off to their furrever families, who’ve all already been chosen (and most names too 🐾).

It’s been a busy season for us: For the very first time we had two litters almost at the same time. While Elfi and her Dark Velvets moved outside, Nukka came in to start nesting and prepare for her own big day. We wanted to take the chance with Nukka, now that she had finally chosen Fluke to be a worthy companion! Everything went smoothly with the birth, but of course it made life very full.

Two weeks after, then packed up and went south with Elfi and the Dark Velvets, meeting their new families in Germany, while stayed back in Lapland with the Elemental Litter and the rest of the pack. Once Elfi was finally brought back to her pack with , Cathi returned home – where familiar faces (like from our very first Alaskan Advent Litter 💙) and new ones were waiting to meet the little Elements. It’s always special when families make the trip all the way up here – it shows us again that we’ve chosen the right people for our community.

But as bright as these weeks have been, there has been one very dark day shortly after. If you’ve been in touch with us through other ways, you already know – one of the puppies is no longer with us. We’ll share more when the time is right – for now, we just want to honor her and hold space for the ones who had already opened their hearts to her 🖤💔

Glow Up 4 🖤 Dai Aiko of Cathi’s Meadow Garden 🐾

From day one, Dai Aiko made sure everyone heard him – the biggest pup, the strongest presence, and the one with the loudest little complaints. That’s why he was lovingly called “Dickie” in the early weeks. 💪

But his name already told the bigger story:
Dai = great, noble
Aiko = beloved child

And that’s exactly what he became – not just the strongest of the pack, but also the most curious, loving, and self-confident spirit. Always ready to explore, to push forward, and to show affection. ❤️👀

From “Dickie” to Dai Aiko, the great beloved one – his glow up is all about strength wrapped in love. 🌟

Glow Up 3 💛 Dark Kallik of Cathi’s Meadow Garden 🐾

Clever, strong, and always finding his way – Kallik is our determined little explorer. From the very beginning, he reminded us of his father Chicco: resourceful, confident and with a natural presence. And yes, with this we also mean his audible one, just like Daddy’s 🙈

While Amka is the heart, Kallik is the drive – together they are a perfect match. Already, the siblings are practicing to run alongside Anuk (from our very first Meadow Garden litter) and Iskas, discovering what teamwork feels like – even if the harness is still just for play. 🛷🐺

🏡 Growing up together with Amka, Kallik is surrounded by a growing pack. With Anuk as their guide, both will carry the Meadow Garden spirit forward – from playtime in the meadow garden to future trails.
