Avian ganglioneuritis, formerly known as proventricular dilatation disease, is caused by psittacine bornavirus. As diagnosis of the infection ist straight forward, diagnosis of clinical disease is still challenging. Our new publication try to bring a bit more light into this. 🇬🇧As the weather is getting hotter- meadows are mowed. This means that little roe deers have to be saved. After searching with a thermal drone, they are placed into a box and released immediately after mowing is done.
🇩🇪 Da das Wetter nun wärmer wird, beginnt die Heumahd. Das ist auch die Zeit wo wir mit der Wärmebilddrohne Kitze suchen um sie vor dem Mähtod zu retten. Sie kommen im eine sichere Box und werden nach der Mahd umgehend frei gelassen.
Danke an die gute Zusammenarbeit mit den Landwirten.
