This German page is a non profit Hamster rescue page. - All hamster that you see on this page, are rescues out of bad husbandry conditions, and are free for adoption, after passing their health check, and a quarantine, and after all necessary adoption requirements, have been
approved by me, as listed on my page, and in each post. I am the owner of this legal *rehoming shelter, approved and certified by the veterinary office. - I am against animal trading in what ever form! Before a hamster is handed out for adoption, I will make sure that the applicant, who likes to adopt that certain hamster, is well instructed in how to keep a hamster, and the enclosure is being checked, whether it meets all species appropriate animal husbandry requirements, before my final approval. The future caregiver also is required to sign an adoption agreement, which besides listing up all Hamster appropriate animal husbandry requirements, forbids to trade/sell this rescued hamster. My shelter is dependent on donations, to cover all the expenses, like vet visits, lab costs, sometimes a surgery is required, to save a hamster's life, before they can be adopted. For each hamster an adoption fee is being raised, as it's standard in the process of adoption worldwide.
