A ban was introduced in Ankara a few days ago: feeding stray dogs and cats in public areas is no longer permitted. For many animals, this means less hope and help, while official feeding stations are often insufficient. With the cold winter just around the corner, all that remains are empty stares, quiet streets, and the question of why suddenly no one comes anymore. This ban does not affect rules, but hearts—and it affects lives.
