Chicken Soup & Other Help is an English language Berlin-based service available to anyone who could do with a little support. Let's say you are feeling under the weather and you just can't manage to muster the strength to cook. You want someone friendly to deliver you the perfect recuperative soup, and maybe some homemade sweets for good measure. Let's say, last night you left your bicycle at Trep

tower Park in a moment of madness and you really need someone to collect it. You don't feel like going to a cafe for brunch on Sunday, you want a personal chef for the morning. Sometimes, living for the city is tough. A little bit of help goes a long way. Oh, and by the way, so does one of our pavlovas. The founders of Chicken Soup & Other Help, Jane Nye and Paul Milne, closed the doors to their popular Prenzlauer Berg cafe, Antipodes in late 2016 and then promptly began missing all the amazing people that had crossed their path. Over the six years they were in business, Jane and Paul dished up not only brunch, coffee and cakes, but a load of advice too. So, while the pair plan their next venture, the sequel to Antipodes, they're making soup, and just generally helping out nice people in a bind.

Well, hello. This is the first CARROT CAKE I have made since we closed the doors of Antipodes last year, so obviously I had to try a piece. But the delectable remainder is available to the first very lucky individual who can collect it from Mitte. And it’s free, because I feel like doing something really nice for somebody today.
