Hopping into the Easter spirit in an “egg-citing” sweet little town! 🪺🐣🥚
Germans love to decorate their cities and villages for Easter and Bad Wildungen is not an exception! The people are really proud of their flower arrangements and decorations and these are real tourist attractions. It is difficult to say which city puts up the most beautiful decorations, because these are all different in their own ways, but nonetheless worth to see to get into the ! 🌹💐🌸

Ready for spring adventures?
Tip no. 1 for this spring: Edersee 🇩🇪
With the Easter Holiday just a few hours away and the weather turning warmer and sunnier every day, what keeps you inside? There is no better time than now to take a breath of fresh air and soak in the stunning views of Edersee (or Lake Eder if you prefer) right in the middle of Germany. This really is one of my favourite destinations for every season, but especially for the spring. A former river turned into a lake by a majedtoc dam. This gorgeous view is from castle Waldeck, just up on the hill. Tel me in the comments if you have been here and if you liked it here or if you plan to come.

And if that is not enough, grab a goodie. That is a double reason to smile. 😁
Free time, food, walkies. What could you need more?
In Ireland they say: there is not bad weather, only wrong clothes. I will try to comfort myself with this idea and enjoy my walk in Nieder-Werbe today. There are some nice things to explore hier, like the church tower in the lake, the old restaurant which had the first ever Telefone in the area more than 100 years ago, the local museum or the national park Kellerwald. Looks like it is gonna be a long walk after all. 😊

A princess needs a castle. Or more. 😁One of my favourite „residences“ is Castle Waldeck, in the gorgeous . A lovely castle, a great view over the lake and a very exquisite and cosy hotel and restaurant The only thing that I need to change there is the merchandise in the shop. They are selling as fluffy toy raccoons, not dachshunds! I like to go there often, so if you are around, there are great chances to meet my royal highness. ❤️ And another bonus: Castle Waldeck is included in the German Fairytale Route, aka . How cool is that? 🧚‍♂️

I for one had a lot of fun with the challenge "Mittelgebirgsstürmer" created by Naturpark Habichtswald Here you have to conquer 10 peaks. It is true that this one, Brasselsberg, is only 434,2 m high, but do you imagine what this means for the short doxie paws? It is almost Mount Everest! 🗻
