The April breeding value estimation 2025 was a 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬. 🧐
In Germany the Multi Step breeding value estimation system was changed to the Single Step system, which shook up the German top list quite a bit and in the USA the five-year base adjustment took place (-404 NM$; -752 Mlbs; -0.6 PTAT).
Despite these major changes, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐦 with his first daughter-proven breeding value. 🤩
William's results at shows and auctions already hinted at his potential, and now he has completely fulfilled the expectations placed in him. With his moderate size of 108 paired with an ideal teat placement of 104 front and rear and an outstanding total udder score of 136, nothing stands in the way of renewed use. 💯

Our red bull 𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐝 proved to be the winner of the single step change and was able to increase his breeding value again and now has 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝟏𝟒𝟔 𝐑𝐙𝐆 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬. 🔝
