HOLLY is looking for her forever home!!

Meet HOLLY, female, 1.5 year old, mixed breed, smaller medium size 12 kg. She has her first vaccination, she is dewormed, anti-parasite treated, health tested, microchipped and castrated.

Holly is a wonderful and smart girl.❤️ She is great with people and fine with kids, even with smaller kids. However, Holly is looking for a home, where her humans are often around. She doesn't like being left alone and would do best with a family who has time for her and can bring her along on adventures. Holly is a very energetic girl, so we are looking for active owners. 🥰

Holly is good with other dogs and she is ok with cats.🐾 She walks well on the leash and she tries her best to be house trained. Please only apply if you have enough time and energy for a dog like Holly. She can for example easily jump or climb a 1.80 m fence, when being left alone in the garden.

Před pár dny přijali Cool Critters do péče prvních pět koček, které byly v "péči " jedné nejmenované organizace. Tak zubožená zvířata jsou drsný pohled i pro ostřílené lidi z útulků. Navíc, když jim ublížil ten, kdo jim měl pomáhat. Odebrání ostatních 40-60 zvířat je v procesu a i to je jeden z důvodů, proč nezveřejňujeme jméno onoho spolku. Říct můžeme jen, že o existenci této organizace jsme ještě minulý týden neměli tušení.

Shelters get a bad rap, most people think of them in a negative way. At Cool Critters we worry when there is litter kicked out on the floor or if a dog has 💩 and we haven't cleaned it from the kennel.

We took five cats on Friday from another organisation that is hopefully in the process of being shut down!! We can't name them for legal reasons. We have photos of the place where these kitties came from and when we can, we will publish them. Nothing could prepare us for the horror these poor cats lived in. And, there are still 40-60 cats there 😭 The video below isn't great but this is Sandy, a six year old cat that has been in this same place since she was a kitten 😭 She has a mouth full of rotten teeth, respiratory problems and is covered in filth. When I asked the owner of the 'shelter' if they were vaccinated, she told me no, they have good immunity 😱

All five cats were seen by our vet today. All are half starved and very sick. The only good news is that they are all FIV FeLV negative 🙏 It's going to take a lot of care, time and money to bring them back to good health and we will make a project to cover the costs. Just looking at them makes us cry 😿

DANNY is looking for his forever home!!

Meet DANNY, male, 3 years and 9 months old, smaller medium size 12.7 kg. He is vaccinated, dewormed, anti-parasite treated, microchipped and castrated.

Danny tested positive for heartworm when he came to us. Heartworm is a treatable condition, and Danny is bravely undergoing the necessary treatment to become completely healthy again. 💪 Danny already finished his one month course of tablets and will from now on only need monthly spot-ons for the next half year. Danny will have another test in about 9 months to see if he's cured. The shelter will cover the cost of all heartworm treatment and offer full veterinary support and guidance throughout the process! ❤️‍🩹

Danny is a "wonderful little weirdo", he's a unique individual with quirks, eccentricities, and a personality that brings joy and laughter. 🥰 We often say that Danny "bangs to his own drum", he is uninhibitedly himself, beyond just being nice or cute, Danny possess a deep, unique personality that makes him so utterly loveable! ❤️

Danny is very friendly and sweet with people and he is also good with children. 🫶 For a dog who likely spent his early life isolated in a garden or on a chain, every moment of affection and gentle touch, is a treasure. Danny is such a grateful and gentle dog. The happiest dog you'll ever meet, especially when comes to food! 🍖 This isn't just a love for snacks, it means that Danny is super trainable, whenever he can hold his focus for longer than two seconds. 😂

Danny is good with other dogs, just sometimes he thinks he needs to protect his food, even though he has his breakfast and dinner in his own kennel. 😅 Danny is also good with cats.🐾

Danny walks well on the leash, he tries his best to be house trained and he travels well in the car.

KIWI is looking for her forever home!!

Meet KIWI, female, 1 year 4 months old, mixed breed, smaller medium size 22.3 kg, but she is very overweight and needs to lose weight (before she was in foster care she was only 13 kg)! She is vaccinated, dewormed, anti-parasite treated, health tested, microchipped and castrated.

Farewell to our dear Flora 💔 Flora came to us almost four years ago and three of those years she was in permanent foster with Dominika, a lady with a heart of gold 💛 "She was the gentlest, best-behaved dog I have ever met. Caring for her changed my life for better 😊"

Flora had many health problems including a bad heart. Recently she started having seizures. Yesterday she had a huge seizure and didn't even recognise Dominika. It was decided the kindest thing would be to let her go 💔 Run free Flora, you were loved 💞
