A short Explanation to the Summer 2026 Flight Schedule.
Due to the new Aegean Airlines Pet Policy (only 1 Pet per Crate) it has become more expensive to fly out Shelter Animals.
Whereas before we used to be able to add up to 3 Cats into one Crate (as long as there was enough space, they were compatible and from same litter etc.) , now that policy has changed.
Cost example:
Previously 5 Cats-3 Crates = EUR 360.00
Now: 5 Cats- 5 Crates = EUR 600.00

Additionally as in previous Summer Months Aegean restricts the Amount of Crates from 01.June to 01.October to just 1 Crate per Person which in effect means I can only take 1 Cat (or Dog) on a flight. (Cyprusairways has a 2 Crate Restriction but allows more than 1 in a Crate see details:
