🐾 Abandonment is NOT the answer 🐾

Today, we found a box with 6 tiny kittens dumped at the back of our clinic. No food, no water, no mother—just left there, hoping someone else would take responsibility.

This is, unfortunately, something we see far too often.

We understand that caring for animals can sometimes feel overwhelming. But abandoning them is not only cruel—it puts their lives at serious risk. These kittens could have easily died from dehydration, infection, or predators.

💔 They didn’t choose this.
👉 Responsible pet ownership means:
• Sterilising your pets
• Reaching out for help if you cannot cope
• Never leaving animals to suffer alone

At Paw Care Veterinary Clinic, we are doing everything we can to care for these babies, but we cannot fight this problem alone.

🐱 ΚΟΥΠΟΝΙΑ ΣΤΕΙΡΩΣΗΣ ΓΑΤΩΝ

Ο Δήμος Παραλιμνίου - Δερύνειας, στο πλαίσιο της συνέχισης και ενίσχυσης της φιλοζωικής του πολιτικής, ανακοινώνει την έκδοση κουπονιών στείρωσης γάτων με στόχο:
🐾 τον έλεγχο του πληθυσμού των ζώων.
💚 την προαγωγή της ευημερίας τους.

📌 Προϋποθέσεις Παραλαβής: Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι δημότες μπορούν να παραλαμβάνουν το κουπόνι από το Δημοτικό Διαμέρισμα Παραλιμνίου, προσκομίζοντας:
🧾 Λογαριασμό κοινής ωφελείας (για επιβεβαίωση διεύθυνσης κατοικίας).
🪪 Δελτίο Ταυτότητας.

ℹ️ Σημαντικές Διευκρινίσεις:
🏠 Κάθε νοικοκυριό δικαιούται ένα (1) κουπόνι στείρωσης.
🔄 Μετά την ολοκλήρωση της διαδικασίας σε κτηνίατρο του Δήμου και για λήψη δεύτερου κουπονιού θα πρέπει να επιστραφεί το πρώτο κουπόνι στείρωσης συμπληρωμένο και σφραγισμένο από τον κτηνίατρο, για δυνατότητα παραλαβής δεύτερου κουπονιού.

Ο Δήμος Παραλιμνίου - Δερύνειας παραμένει προσηλωμένος στην εφαρμογή υπεύθυνων και βιώσιμων πολιτικών για τη διαχείριση του πληθυσμού των ζώων και καλεί τους δημότες να συμβάλουν ενεργά στη συλλογική αυτή προσπάθεια .

🐱 CAT STERILIZATION VOUCHERS

Paralimni – Deryneia Municipality, announces the issuance of cat sterilization vouchers with the aim of:
🐾 controlling the animal population.
💚 promoting their welfare.

📌 Collection Requirements:
Interested residents may collect the voucher from the Paralimni Municipal District Office by presenting:
🧾 A utility bill (to verify residential address).
🪪 Identity card.

ℹ️ Important Clarifications:
🏠 Each household is entitled to one (1) sterilization voucher.
🔄 After the procedure is completed by a veterinarian, and in order to receive a second voucher, the first sterilization voucher must be returned completed and stamped by the veterinarian.

Paralimni – Deryneia Municipality remains committed to implementing responsible and sustainable policies for the management of the animal population and calls on residents to actively contribute to this collective effort.

Every clinic will face cyberbullying or harassment sooner or later. It seems that now it’s our time.

Over the past month, our clinic has been targeted by anonymous and false online reviews describing cases that did not happen and have no basis in our records. Reading them has been deeply upsetting for our team.

We have previously witnessed colleagues suffer the consequences of false accusations and harmful reviews, and we have always made our stance clear. No veterinarian is alone in this.

We care deeply about our patients and the people who love them. We lose sleep over our cases and carry heavy responsibility every day. Being accused anonymously of cruelty or indifference hurts more than people realise.

We support honest feedback and take genuine concerns seriously. But false accusations are not feedback — they are cyberbullying.

For transparency, these matters have been referred to the legal team of the Pancyprian Veterinary Association.
