Today we had one of the most interesting cases I’ve seen. On the following X-ray you can see a female dog with a “hemip***s” with a fully formed os p***s (pe**le bone). Fun fact, dogs have a bone inside their p***s along with other canid species. This condition is called hermaphroditism, a genetic condition in which the gentian organs of both sexes are developed with one predominating (usually female). This doggie had a long history of urinary problems, and I was able to diagnose this with a simple vaginal inspection which revealed the hemip***s. She is scheduled to undergo a CT scan to look for abdominal testicles, and vaginoscopy to map out the internal anatomy, so we can decide whether an amputation of the male organ is possible. This is done because of the repeated urinary problems it seems to be causing.

Lucy came to us with severe neurological symptoms of imbalance, seizures, loss of sights. Dr. Jakub assumed Central nervous involvement and after discussing with owner came to a likely diagnosis of Organophosphate poisoning. Treatment was initiated with prognosis guarded, but luckily Lucy made a turn for the better and then after being hospitalized with us for a night she is now heading home in good condition, eating and back to her happy self. Love you Lucy !

P.S please note where you put your little friends in the grass, there may be chemical sprays on it.

These beautiful puppies were found by some lovely people about 3 weeks ago, thrown out in a bag in a field when they were just a few hours old. They visited Our clinic for an examination where they were all hypothermic and very hungry and scared.

We advised them on what to do and provided as much help as was possible, but it was going to be difficult feeding them and keeping them warm and healthy enough without the presence of their mom.

Thanks to the nice people who managed to take excellent care of them, although tough at times, they are now in good health and growing, coming close to being a month old soon. They Are now looking for their new families and will be ready to move in soon. 3 boys and a black little girl. If you can help or know someone who could, please don’t hesitate to contact us though DM or at 97796249 .

This sweet little baby “Jasmin” is looking for a foster, or even better a forever home! She is the sweetest and loves everyone. Currently at our clinic as she can’t be returned to the shelter until her wounds are healed. Hopefully she never needs to go back there again. She really deserves a nice home. Please share
