Alex's Farm Of Strays Animal Rescue We are a registered animal rescue based in Cyprus, working exclusively through a network of foster homes.

UPDATE 19:00 FOSTER HOME FOUND FOR BERNIE SO NOW WE NEED A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME FOR GEEGEE THE LATEST MONDAY BUT IF YOU CAN HELP PLEASE DONT WAIT MUCH LONGER TO CONTACT US!

🚨 URGENT: GEEGEE & BERNIE NEED A FOSTER HOME BY MONDAY 🚨

We are honestly heartbroken writing this…so far, we haven’t had a single offer and their foster family is leaving on holiday. If we can’t find a solution by Monday, we genuinely don’t know what will happen to them.

Unfortunately, Bernie had an accident in his foster home last week and has broken his leg. 💔 He is doing well, but he must be crated at all times while his leg heals. The good news is that we already have interest in adopting Bernie, so as long as his recovery goes well, he should be going to his forever home in a few weeks.

We’re also doing everything we can to find the perfect forever home for GeeGee. She is a tiny Chihuahua × Miniature Pinscher cross, only around 4kg, and she is the sweetest little girl.

We need a foster in the Paphos area.

They can be fostered together or separately. We provide food, a crate and anything else they need. Both are wonderful with children and other dogs.

Please, if you can help even temporarily, message us today. And if you can’t foster, sharing this post could be the reason they’re safe. ❤️🐾

More of beautiful Wilma… 🤍🐾

If you haven’t already, go and watch the video of our lovely Wilma in our previous post from this morning, it shows her sweet personality perfectly. 🥹❤️

These photos are just another reminder of how special this girl really is. At only around 1.5 years old, Wilma is gentle, affectionate, playful and ready for a forever family to call her own.

🚨 OREO IS STILL WAITING FOR HER FOREVER HOME ❤️🐾

Do you remember Oreo?

Last month, we rescued Oreo and her sister Cookie from the industrial area, where they were living completely alone. Just three weeks later, we went back and found Chip in the exact same place, their little brother, still surviving by himself.

Oreo was lucky enough to find a wonderful foster home, where she’s been safe, loved and able to grow into the most beautiful little girl. But she can’t stay there much longer and now she desperately needs a forever home.

Oreo is around 3-4 months old, a German Pointer cross and is expected to grow to around 20kg. She’s affectionate, playful, fantastic with other dogs and wonderful with children.

TEDDY 🐾 LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME

Teddy is one of the lucky ones. 💙

After being abandoned and found alone, he was lucky enough to find a wonderful foster home almost immediately. He’s now safe, loved and cared for but foster is only temporary. Our goal is to find him his forever family before he gets too used to temporary life.

Teddy is around 3 months old and looks like a gorgeous Spaniel x kokoni. We expect him to grow into a small-medium sized dog (around 10–15kg).

He’s a cheeky, clever little boy with a big personality. Teddy is playful, affectionate and incredibly smart. He’s great with other dogs, doesn’t mind cats, loves children and is both house trained and crate trained.

Our adoption process includes: Application Form, Home Check, RBU & Full Adoption Package.

Oreo & Chip’s Reunion! 🐾💙

Today Oreo and Chip had their first proper reunion and the best play date at the dog park! They enjoyed every single minute of running, chasing each other and just being happy puppies.

Oreo is a girl, Chip is a boy and they’re both beautiful German Pointers around 3 months old. They’re fantastic with children, great with other dogs and with the right introductions could probably learn to live with cats too.

They both deserve amazing forever homes…or maybe someone will fall in love with BOTH? 😉❤️

Meet Bonnie, a lovely 2 year old Hound who is searching for the happy ending she truly deserves.
Bonnie was found in a village in Paphos by a wonderful couple who took her in and kept her safe. Sadly, they are leaving Cyprus at the end of this month, so we urgently need either a foster home or, even better, a forever family for this beautiful girl.
Bonnie is friendly with people, children and other dogs, has a medium energy level, walks well on the lead, and loves nothing more than sniffing and exploring on her adventures. She would suit most family homes and has so much love to give. ❤️
She can be adopted in Cyprus or the UK. 🇨🇾🇬🇧
Our adoption process includes an application form, successful home check, RBU, and an adoption fee.

Not everyone can foster or adopt and that’s okay. 💙 But if you’ve ever asked yourself, “How else can I help?” this post is for you.
Over the next weeks we’re going to lose several of our volunteers: one is starting a new paid job and two are moving back to the UK in the coming months. I’m honestly worried about how we’ll keep the charity shop running.
If you’re local and can spare just 4 hours a week, you could help keep our charity shop stay open and directly support the rescue work we do for the animals.
You don’t need experience just kindness, reliability and a willingness to help animals. If you’d like to join our little team, please send us a message. 🐾

We are urgently looking for dog crates of ANY size that people no longer need or use. 🐾❤️ We currently have more animals that we can handle going or into foster homes and almost every foster placement requires a crate to keep the animal safe and settled. We have given out many of our crates in the past but unfortunately some were never returned and others came back broken, leaving us with very few available now. If you have a crate sitting unused, no matter the size or condition (as long as it is safe and usable), please consider donating it to us. It could make a huge difference to an animal who needs somewhere safe to stay. 🙏 Please contact us!
