W***y 🐶 , 15 years old, male intact was brought with a really large testicular cancer. After a detailed consultation with W***y's family, we decided to proceed with the tumor removal surgery.
3 weeks later this old boy has recovered fully, and is doing fantastic.

Testicular cancers can be prevented with castration.

Ο Γουίλι, 15 ετών, προσκομίστηκε με ένα υπερμεγέθη καρκίνο των όρχεων όπως φαίνεται στις φωτογραφίες. Μετά από λεπτομερή συζήτηση με την οικογένειά του, αποφασίστηκε να ρισκάρουμε την χειρουργική αφαίρεση του καρκίνου. Τώρα έχει αναρρώσει πλήρως, 3 βδομάδες μετά το χειρουργείο.

Ο καρκίνος των όρχεων μπορεί να προληφθεί με τον ευνουχισμό.

Ear infection is a common condition for dogs and it can affect the quality of their life causing pain and discomfort.

It is related to the breed, age, lifestyle and general health of the pet. If you notice increased ear wax production, shaking of the head or general behaviour change, you should call for an appointment immediately 🐶

Our 25th March patient 💞
This very special baby goat was born on 24th of March, but by next day he was really weak, dehydrated and lethargic. Of course, we responded despite the public holiday. We are available 24/7 for emergencies, and of course all animals matter.

Nugget 😺 is a young beautiful kitten. He was brought for hospitalisation because he was looking very poorly, with fever, respiratory symptoms and unwillingness to eat. After the clinical examination he was found with severe gingivitis and positive to FIV. After he stayed on fluids for a week, he was able to recover from the flu and have his necessary teeth removals.
At the video he's looking significantly brighter, and chattier while he was getting ready to go home ❤️

FIV is transmitted sexually, from deep wounds or from the mother to the kittens in womb. FIV positive should not be a death sentence for cats, they can live long and happy lives with the proper care and regular vet checks.

Ο Nugget είναι ένα νεαρό και όμορφο γατάκι. Προσκομίστηκε για νοσηλεία καθώς ήταν εμφανώς άρρωστος, είχε πυρετό και αναπνευστικα συμπτώματα, καθώς επίσης και απροθυμία για φαγητό. Μετά από κλινική εξέταση διαγνώστηκε σοβαρή ουλίτιδα και θετικός στον ιό FIV. Αφού νοσηλεύτηκε για μια βδομάδα, μπόρεσε να αναρρώσει από την γρίπη και να γίνουν οι απαραίτητες εξαγωγές δοντιών. Στο βίντεο φαίνεται εμφανώς χαρούμενος περιμένοντας να πάει στο σπίτι.

Ο ιός FIV μεταδίδεται σεξουαλικά, μέσω βαθιών τραυμάτων ή από μολυσμένη μητέρα στα γατάκια. Οι FIV θετικοί γατοι μπορούν να ζήσουν για πολλά και ποιοτικά χρόνια, όμως απαιτείται η κατάλληλη φροντίδα και τακτική κτηνιατρικη παρακολούθηση.

Beautiful Minnie was brought with severe abdomen pain, jaundice and high fever one week ago 💔 After the necessary clinical and laboratory tests, she was diagnosed with feline triaditis. After a week of intensive treatment, she's back to health and ready to go home. 🐈‍⬛

Triaditis is a complex condition involving pancreatitis, cholangitis and enteritis at the same time. It has better success rate if treated during the early stages. Therefore, it's advised to call for an appointment immediately after you notice signs of discomfort in your cat's behaviour 🐾

Η Minnie προσκομίστηκε με έντονο κοιλιακό πόνο, ίκτερο και υψηλό πυρετό πριν από μία βδομάδα. Μετά από τις απαραίτητες κλινικές και εργαστηριακές εξετάσεις, διαγνώστηκε με Τριαδιτιδα της γάτας. Μετά από μια βδομάδα εντατικής φροντίδας, μπόρεσε να επιστρέψει στο σπίτι.

Η Τριαδιτιδα της γάτας είναι μια περίπλοκη νόσος, που εμπλέκει παγκρεατίτιδα, χολαγγειιτιδα, και εντεριτιδα. Έχει καλύτερα ποσοστά επιτυχίας αν αντιμετωπιστεί στα αρχικά στάδια. Για αυτό το λόγο, είναι σημαντικό να εξετάζονται άμεσα οι γάτες που δείχνουν συμπτώματα δυσφορίας.
