A yearly check-up can make all the difference. Many health issues in pets show no symptoms until they become serious. Preventative care helps catch problems early and keeps your furry friend healthier, longer. 🐾

🐾 Good nutrition keeps your pet healthy and happy! Choose high-quality, balanced foods made for your pet’s life stage. Avoid grain-free or raw diets unless your vet says otherwise. When changing foods, do it slowly to prevent tummy upset. Both wet and dry food work great when they’re complete and balanced! 🐶🐱

Focus on the Journey & Resilience
🐾 Success Story: Pushy's Brave Battle Against Renal Cancer! 🐾
Meet Pushy, a wonderful 10-year-old female Kokoni mix who came to us with concerning symptoms: excessive drinking, frequent urination, and blood in her urine. Our diagnostic journey, including X-rays, ultrasound, and a CT scan, revealed a shocking truth: a mass on her left kidney.
Our team performed a ventral celiotomy and left nephrectomy to remove the mass. Pushy's recovery was thankfully uneventful a true testament to her resilience!
The histopathology results confirmed our suspicions: Renal Carcinoma.
While this is a serious diagnosis, we're optimistic about Pushy's future. She's due for her 6-month post-operative check-up soon, and we're dedicated to her long-term well-being.
This case highlights the importance of thorough diagnostics when pets show subtle changes. Early detection and intervention can make all the difference!

Dogs only sweat through the bottoms of their paws! 🐶 So when they’re hot, they cool off by panting 💦
22/07/2025
Unlike us, pets don’t sweat to cool down, so it’s on us to help them beat the heat. 💧🐾
Make sure your furry friends always have fresh water and plenty of shade available during those hot days.
Remember, our pets can’t tell us when they’re too hot, it’s up to us to keep them safe and happy all summer long. 🌞❤️

At our clinic, we provide Electrocardiography (ECG) to help diagnose heart conditions in your pets. 🐶🐱
If your pet has a heart murmur, shows signs of fainting, or if an X-ray indicates heart enlargement, an ECG can give us valuable insight.
It’s a painless, quick test that helps us keep your furry friend’s heart healthy! 💓

Just like us, pets need regular exercise to stay healthy and happy. 🚶♂️🐕 Even two walks a day can make a big difference in your dog’s fitness (and yours too!).

SENSITIVE CONTENT ⚠️ Rio's Remarkable Recovery: A Tale of Overcoming Acute Pneumothorax!
We're thrilled to share an incredible story of resilience and recovery starring our brave patient, Rio! This sweet dog recently faced a critical health challenge: acute pneumothorax.
Rio arrived at our clinic experiencing acute dysphoria and hypoxia, clear signs that something was seriously wrong. A lateral X-ray quickly revealed the cause: a pneumothorax, meaning air was trapped outside his lungs, preventing them from fully inflating. To get a clearer picture and identify the root cause, a CT scan was performed. The scan confirmed the pneumothorax and, crucially, pointed to lung bullae as the likely culprit. Lung bullae are air-filled sacs that can rupture and lead to air leaking into the chest cavity.
Given the severity of the situation, emergency surgery was necessary. Rio underwent a midline sternotomy, a procedure where the chest is opened through the sternum, to allow our surgical team to address the problem directly. During the surgery, a partial and complete lobectomy was performed to remove the affected lung tissue containing the ruptured bullae.
It was a challenging time for Rio and his family, but we're overjoyed to report that Rio is now recovering wonderfully! He's happy, comfortable, and well on his way to a full recovery. Rio's story is a testament to timely diagnosis, expert surgical intervention, and the incredible will of our furry friends to bounce back.

While many cats love being the solo star of the household, some will tolerate, or even enjoy, the company of siblings they have grown up with!
But don’t be fooled!
Even the friendliest feline prefers not to share their stuff. 😼
If you are planning to introduce cats to each other, take it slow.
Give them time, space, and duplicates of everything like litter trays, food bowls, beds, even hiding spots.
