What qualifies as an emergency?
A true emergency is when your pet is experiencing a life-threatening condition or is in severe pain that cannot wait. Examples include:
• Difficulty breathing
• Seizures or collapse
• Severe bleeding or trauma (e.g., car accidents)
• Vomiting or diarrhea with lethargy
• Suspected poisoning
• Inability to urinate/defecate (especially if in distress)
• Intense, continuous pain

Please note: these are not emergencies:
• Itchy skin or minor wounds
• Eye or ear issues without sudden worsening
• Chronic conditions that are stable
• Vaccinations or check-ups

We kindly ask you to respect this policy so we can prioritize urgent cases. If you’re unsure whether it’s an emergency, please call us first.

Τι χαρακτηρίζεται ως έκτακτη ανάγκη;

Bailey after her 3rd vaccine! 🐾

Vaccinating your puppy is important for several key reasons:

1. Protects Against Serious Diseases: Vaccines help prevent dangerous and potentially fatal diseases such as parvovirus, distemper, rabies, and hepatitis.

2. Builds Immunity: Puppies are born with some immunity from their mothers, but this protection fades over time. Vaccinations help build their own immune defenses during this vulnerable period.

3. Protects Other Pets and People: Some diseases, like rabies, can be transmitted to humans. Vaccinating your puppy helps protect your family, other pets, and the broader community.

4. Required by Law: In many countrys, certain vaccines (like rabies) are legally required for pets.

5. Prevents Costly Treatments: Treating a disease like parvo can be very expensive and not always successful. Vaccines are a cost-effective way to keep your puppy healthy.

6. Supports a Healthy Life: Early protection leads to fewer health complications later, helping your dog live a longer, healthier life.

Tonight, as we celebrate the resurrection of Christ with bells, fireworks, and joy… let’s not forget our four-legged companions.🐾

For many dogs, the loud noises aren’t exciting — they’re terrifying.
Some tremble, hide, or bark. Others may panic and run away. Noise phobia is real, and tonight can be overwhelming for them.

Here are a few simple ways you can help your dog feel safer:

1. Take them for a walk and give them food before the noise begins.
2. Close all windows and curtains to muffle the sounds.
3. Prepare a quiet, cozy spot where they can hide and feel secure.
4. Stay calm — they look to you for comfort.
5. Play soft music or turn on the TV for background noise.

• If needed, ask your vet about calming remedies.
• Make sure your dog wears a collar with ID, just in case they escape.

Let’s be their peace during the noise.
Let’s be the calm in their chaos.
Because while we celebrate new life, they just need to feel safe in ours.

Wishing you and your furry family a peaceful and joyful Easter night. 🐰🐣
