In loving memory of sweet Rina

The hardest part of this job, the part nobody really talks about, is the heartbreak when one of our beloved pups passes. Yesterday we lost one of our regulars, a sweet soul we had the privilege of walking for years and our heart is heavy.

Rina was so much more than a dog we walked — she was truly one of a kind. A beautiful King Charles Cavalier with the softest ears and the kindest soul. She was warm, gentle, and endlessly friendly. Every time we arrived, she greeted us with love, always asking for cuddles, always ready to share her joy and always ready for her treat!!

There was something about Rina that was simply unforgettable. She made the world brighter just by being in it — with her adorable face, her loving nature, and the way she spread happiness to everyone around her.

Losing her feels like losing one of our own. That’s the part of this job people doesn’t often see — how deeply these dogs weave themselves into your heart. And when they leave, the silence they leave behind is heavy.

Rest easy, my sweet girl. Thank you for all the love you gave so freely. Thank you for the joy, the trust, and the love you brought into every single walk, for every wag of your tail, for every cuddle.

You’ll always be a part of our heart, and a reminder of why we love what we do — even when it hurts
